Just to be clear, it's not Lebron coming here that I hate, it's the league being this way that I hate. I like Lebron a lot and would love to watch him in a Rockets uniform.

True Rockets fans must hope this trade fails. The only way to get all Banana Bros is for Rockets to keep Ryan Anderson, sign Melo (and Wade) to a small contract after buyout, then use Ryan Anderson in sign and trade for LeBron James.

This. It's most definitely not a timing issue. Why is it so hard to believe that this makes for a very complicated and difficult trade to pull off, and it's just not happening right now...To the point where we have people thinking that there's a hidden agenda to present this to the fans.

 

Not necessarily... I may be wrong but if next year Melo opts out that means we go into the offseason with neither Melo or CP3s salaries. And would also have both players bird rights which is key!!!!!!!!!!

Because we can go over the cap to retain players with bird rights I believe we could agree to a large contract possibly Max with a player than after that go over the cap to both retain CP3 and Melo... now someone is taking a pay cut but I think having both CP3 and Melos Bird rights is vital to the potential of a true banana boat super team.
