Are you sure that Portland wants Ryno? What purpose would they have in picking him up?

Then again, same goes for the Pelicans. But at least he has familiarity there and they're trying to show Anthony Davis that they're willing to make (stupid) moves to try and build the team.

ryno would be a solid pickup for them. they're missing a true stretch 4 to go along with lillard and CJ.

 

the knicks tried to trade for jackson before the pistons got him. maybe the pistons can be the 4th team and send jackson to the knicks. SVG might still value ryno from their orlando days, and his fit next to drummond. the pistons could send poor mans ryno (leuer) to portland who sends harkless to the knicks. this way portland gets their stretch 4 without breaking the bank. the knicks get a couple of guys they want plus our pick.

could look like this:

DET gets: ryno, vonleh, taylor, nanu.
POR gets: leuer, NG contracts (cuts their tax bill in half)
NYK gets: jackson, harkless, ed davis' expiring contract, 2020 lotto protected pick from HOU
HOU gets: melo

On a similar note, the grammar police never arrive on time to prevent possessive apostrophe crimes. Can we really trust Potato Head is correctly using the word 'imminent" with grammar errors like that in his profile banner.

 

I don't see Morey taking on that Leonard contract for 3 more years AND giving up a 1st round pick.

 

I think he fits their team to a T, but i can see why people would disagree
1.He gives CJ and Dame alot of space to work with
2.He contrasts perfectly with turner and Aminu
3.It seems to me a lineup of Dame CJ Aminu Ryno Nurkic can do wonders , not so sure defensively but crazy offensive firepower

They're sort of on it, regardless, based on the Turner, Crabbe, Harkless, and Leonard contracts. Unless they can get massive cap relief, and that seems unlikely, might as well try to flip some of those for a better basketball fit over the next three years.
