    Uthoff can be traded. His salary just can't be aggregated for salary-matching purposes. But he certainly can be part of this trade, either as Uthoff-for-cash sweetener for a team who actually wants him (not far-fetched) or as 1 on 1 minor cost-cutting, side trade for a player making $2m or so, where Uthoff indeed gets cut.

    To move Uthoff in this trade, Morey would just coach the other GMs on how to turn a big trade into several smaller ones....which won't be hard in a 4-team deal. All four teams must touch each other, anyhow.

    idk if it has been discussed. But maybe the knicks and rockets are waiting after summer league. I mean the more games the rockets play, the more you see which player has great value and potential
