    From a cap or hard cap standpoint, can we trade Ryno, Capella and our NGs and take back Melo and Tyson Chandler, if it is technically split into "2 separate trades"? The trade checker doesn't real work on this scenario since they don't have all the Houston NGs valued correctly.

    The trade will go down b/c the Knicks has no intention to keep Melo for one more year and let him walk for free.

    It's a matter of them extracting more. No E.G./Capela in the trade. We have to hold it tight.

    And how does replacing Love with Melo move the needle at all for Cleveland? LeBron isn't basing his decision on staying or going because of Carmelo Anthony. LeBron knows what it takes to win a championship.

    Vecsey is totally irrelevant, and anything he says should be dismissed and taken with a huge grain of salt...this is what he wrote 2 months before the Melo trade to NY happened...
