Yeah for some reason he has a thing for Ryno.

Him and cheny think he's the best thing since sliced bread, yet he can't rebound, defend, or do much outside of shooting the 3 and that's when his shot is actually falling.

His relevance is slight but just 'cause he's old doesn't mean he has no sources.

Actually an interesting character in many, not all good or positive, ways.

ok then i said there isn't that much difference to me to where it puts houston higher as far as talent bc for all the struggles people like to criticize ryan for love is pretty comparable. And playing against the best pretty much showed that

So let's look at what we have to offer teams in a multi-trade scenario.

    Houston:
Good Offering: Can offer a future first and/or second, and some mid level cap relief with our non guaranteed contracts
Bad Offering: we gotta move Anderson out if we want to pay Melo. He's a decent player, but doesn't move the needle for many teams not into the Morey way of mass 3s.
Looking for: A 3rd star - Melo in this case.
What they don't want: anything but a legit star

    New York:
    Good Offering: Can offer Melo
Bad Offering: probably wouldn't mind getting rid of Joakim Noah's contract
Looking for: probably want future draft considerations and/or getting rid of Noah's contract.
What they don't want: apparently Ryan Anderson or else this deal would already be done.

....that means, if we are looking for potential trade partners, we are looking at teams who:
A.) have a need to improve their shooting/spacing(in other words, wouldn't mind Ryan Anderson)
B.) have cap space to exchange for some future pick considerations
C.) have a need for a 32 yr old big with bad knees, declining athleticism and a near max deal.

...I don't think anyone wants option C unless there is a high draft pick attached.
Option B probably includes Sacramento, Atlanta, 76ers, Nuggets, Bulls, Nets, Suns
Option A I could see including Sacramento(dont take a lot of 3s, but have prioritized vet leadership in the offseason) , the Nets(took 4th most 3s in the league last year but 3pt shooting percentage was in the bottom 5), Philly(also takes a lot of 3s and shoots them poorly but hard to see Anderson's fit with the 76ers bigs of the future.

I think that means we are looking at either Sacramento, Brooklyn or the 76ers, and less likely, teams like Atlanta, Bulls, or Suns. That said, the rebuilding teams are less likely to surrender picks so maybe your just looking at teams who want to get a little better which of that last only the Suns fit that profile but they don't have the extra cap space unless Chandler is moved - hence the 4th team scenario we are hearing about.

It's a big cluster. Honestly, I'm not sure how this is going to work - seems like it's not likely. Is it too late to have Melo pout enough to get the Knicks to cut him so we can sign him on the cheap? Because that is plan C, D, E, and F.

Smells like Gordon has to be involved in the trade. If that's the case, do not want
