Simmons loves him some Murrie. Vesey is still alive? Big3 say cheese. Rocks in 7 over Worriers. The Rocks sweep Calfs.

    Houston we have another Champion3hip.

Sauces indicate 3 MLB and 3 NFL teams required to make Melo to Houston work

Historical 10 team, inter- professional league deal - Morey calling the shots

Yeah but again, why trade Teletovic which cost half the salary for the few minutes he plays when you're going to play Parker, Giannis and Maker anyway?

Also sorry guys, but we're really considering a Bill Simmons trade idea? Sounds like we're really desperate lol

Hope not. If we have to give up Capela, Morey should just say no. We need what Clint brings around the glass far more than we need Melo's added scoring (compared to sticking with Anderson).

Honestly, there is no way D'Antoni is "cool" with it. If you've listened to his wife, read the long interviews he's done, etc. he can't be cool with it. He may be cautiously optimistic about it, but I guarantee you that if he were the one to say "We either add Melo or we don't add Melo" he would avoid it. The man made his life miserable. He'll get on board with it but he'll be looking backwards at all times to make sure Melo isn't there ready to plunge the knife.

I don't have any inside information on Morey and D'Antoni specifically discussing Carmelo Anthony..... but you can take it to the bank that Morey and D'Antoni discussed bringing aboard Carmelo Anthony before engaging in trade talks. Besides, D'Antoni is involved in all free agent signings and substantive trades.

The draft picks might be the hold up in this whole 4 team or 3 team trades. What pick to send to what team and who sends what to who.

Yes, but who? I have wanted Tyson Chandler for awhile but he is finally slowing down and Capela is much better and will continue to improve. I am all for flipping Capela but we have to get an equal or better center back so I just don't see a scenario where that is happening. As great as Capela's trade value is, I just don't see how you could get equal value AND make it work under the salary cap. That is the biggest obstacle is making it work under the cap since we are hard capped.

Exactly , but therefore it's definitely related to Andersons contract.

Because you have to find a team that both wants Anderson the player and Anderson the contract ... And what they are willing to give up has to be better contract and youth wise for the Knicks.

Ie , Portland is willing to give up Leonard and harkless (reportedly) for Ryan because ... Ryan is an upgrade AND Leonard is also a bad contract they would move in the process.

If Leonard made 3 million , despite the fact that he is a worse player than Anderson , they wouldn't be willing to make the trade .

Portland gets the benefit of BOTH Andersons play and the value of exchanging contracts

I'm sure they did. D'Antoni is a pro. I'm sure he got on board, that doesn't mean he's thrilled about it. Melo absolutely sabotaged him once. You can put that aside and give it another run but you can't erase it from your memory.

    I disagree.

If D'Antoni really didn't think it was worth the risk, the Rockets wouldn't be going after Anthony.

D'Antoni has a history of having a thin skin, but he also really wants to win... I am sure he would rather a different star be added, but he also knows the Rockets are a far better shot against the Warriors with three stars instead of two.

I agree with you..... I am sure Mike and Laurel have had a lot of discussions about Anthony recently.
