Knicks, Rockets working on Carmelo Anthony trade scenarios

Not sure why this is surprising.

The Rockets have been trying to make it a four team deal for nearly a week now.

 

don't get greedy love is an upgrade over anderson and we could maybe keep ariza gordon

rockets - love
cavs - melo
knicks - 2 second rounds from both teams or a future first form each

 

This is taking too damn long. Time to get some real experts in moving money involved.

Easier way: Morey talks to a few local politicians. They skim $20 million off of the neverending 290 construction, clean it up, and send it up to the Knicks along with Anderson. Done.

 

if people criticize anderson for his faults, love is basically one in the same and hes not a better shooter than anderson. so not sure why i get the love is a better choice over melo here

 

He's bringing up the point I am bringing up.

It's really a 2 year bad contract. The expiring contract then becomes an asset.

Edit: And some of these teams aren't doing anything for the next 2 years anyways. This shouldn't be that hard to move honestly. I wish Hinkie was still GM of the sixers, he'd bite. Another shooter to spread the floor?

This is just a fancy way of saying wait another 6 weeks.

 

Love is a much better player than Anderson.

That said, if we could could make a three team deal where we got Love we could just do a 1 for 1 deal for Melo.

That rumors doesn't make any sense.

 

That was Morey's 2nd best trade IMO. Turning an old and injured T-Mac into Kevin Martin, Jordan Hill and 2 1st round picks.

Better how? He doesn't handle the ball better than, he's not a better scoring threat, he's not a better playmaker & can't play multiple positions like Melo. Skill wise it ain't close lol. The only thing he is to the casual fan is more likable, i guess

 

if the goal ultimately, is to compete with the best, love has the same exact problems anderson encounters playing the likes of the gsw etc

 

love can rebound ways better, plays good in big games, can somewhat post up, jus a better all around player at getting to spots than anderson standing there.

I can see a scenario where the media is a step or two behind with the info they're getting.

 

This would sort of make sense, considering nenes post.

You and I were talking about this being a four team deal a few days ago.

One thing to remember is that the league approval process is more complicated for 4 teams.

It is very possible that a deal is agreed to and rejected by the league because of how complicated it is.

I won't consider the deal done until the league approves of the deal.
