The real issue here though is that the belief in some kind of loosely defined Russian collusion is faith based, not fact based and it always has been. Those who believe things based on faith alone often get upset when someone requires actual proof before they'll jump on board.

Seeing people argue with Bobby while he's on ignore is an odd experience. It's truly like watching somebody argue with a tennis ball bouncing against a wall and getting angrier each time it comes back toward them. His act of "guy who will refute everything you say no matter how much sense it makes" is remarkably durable.

A lot of folks in this thread are going to end up feeling foolish when this plays out for impetuous statements and rush to judgements. It's highly likely this was a plant with the aim of creating justification for FISA warrants and surveillance of the Trump campaign. None of that would have ever come to light though, because, you know, Hillary was supposed to win.

Natalia Veselnitskaya's US entry visa expired in January 2016. So, how was she allowed to enter the country in June?

Her presence alongside the U.S ambassador to Russia in a congressional hearing 8 days after the Trump Jr. meeting.

Her Facebook page having anti-Trump photos and memes. Does not appear like someone who would desire to help Trump.

The language used by the intermediary in his email to Trump Jr. The weird and needless "part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump". Specifically crafted for maximum effect.

Ms. Veselnitskaya's association with Fusion GPS, the same company that produced the bogus Trump golden showers dossier.

People who collude don't usually write or retweet negative things about the person they're trying to help before a meeting.

She posted this photo from inside John McCain's office in December 2015. Looking fishier and fishier.

    This is still isn't collusion

Collusion would be planning the hacking together.

At worst he didn't say anything. That assumes he knows how they got the Russians got that stuff.

It also assumes he knew they wanted to influence the election which is a reach of an accusation against the Russians to begin with

Wow... Trump and his circle will say any lie, and do anything, including now colluding with the Russians. And republicans will not only overlook it... they accept, defend and even support it. Wow. Wow. Each time I marvel at how low things have gotten. Only to be surprised by the next time.

They didn't collude to do anything

Do you understand the definition of collude?

I bet when I wrote this, especially the first bullet above, people thought I was joking:

So Don Junior wasn't breaking laws, wasn't acting treasonous, but instead, was a hero. Welcome to today's republican party...

Well Bill Clinton, is this another question of what your definition of is is? Since you requested a definition:

Whether or not Trump Junior (on his own, under direction by Trump Senior or others in the campaign/administration, and/or in cooperation with Trump Senior and/or others) actively colluded with Russians as the emails appear to demonstrate is a question for the three current investigations and any trial that comes out of them. But what is clear is that Trump Junior understood he was arranging a meeting with Russians with the sole purpose of gaining emails that would hurt Hillary Clinton's campaign and help Donald Trump Senior's campaign. And that two others in the Trump campaign (Kushner, who became Trump's adviser and Manafort, who was Trump's campaign manager) were aware of and intended the meeting. Since hours after the meeting Trump senior tweeted about Clinton emails, it suggests that Trump senior also was aware of the meeting (that happened in the same building he was at). This extends the discussion to conspiracy. And the fact that Trump and others lied about this meeting (as they have with other interactions with Russians) indicates an awareness of wrongdoing and an combined effort to conceal and deceive.

    Since you like definitions:

In addition, when added to past actions by Trump Junior, and others within the Trump circle, including Donald Trump Senior, the criminal act of conspiracy only requires proof that there was a combined effort to commit an underlying federal offense. Again, the three investigations are actively looking at this, but one such federal offense relates to elections and any foreigner contributing money or other thing of value. It can be argued that the Russian lawyer was approaching Trump Junior with just that. "Information" has been successfully used in court cases. And since the Russian lawyer can be determined to have been paid for approaching Trump Junior, that further indicates that she was transferring "value".

And by the way, I don't believe there has to be any actual information accepted by Trump needed to prove this... only that an offer was made, and that Trump Junior (and others) met with the Russian lawyer to complete the transaction.

Of course, I am not a lawyer, but plenty of lawyers on Mueller's and the other two investigative bodes will look at this and other evidence. And according to Schiff, there is a lot of additional information that hasn't been disclosed.

Oh, and by the way, the Kremlin is now denying any and all meetings it has had with Trump...

Trump's bosses must be getting worried about all the attention they are getting...

    No

The Russians hacked the emails then told him. That's not collusion. I haven't read everything but that alone isn't collusion
