He's going to be in the next 2 Avengers movies, that much is confirmed. Marvel wants to build around him in the team up movies.

But I am very weary of Sony f**king this whole thing up somehow despite Marvel showing they can print money for you. You let us use him in the team ups, we let you keep the loot from the solo movies, it's a win-win for everybody. I'm sure they could do the same damn thing with Venom, but instead they're gonna do something stupid. I feel it's inevitable that they're gonna pull Spidey into that B universe, and poison the water for everybody.

Saw it this weekend. Solid B. I like that they had a paragraph conversation for his origin.

He films the avenger scene as he is involved in it. Videography=millennial photography?

That's a good pick up. Photos aren't going to do any good these days since print newspaper is nearly dead.

wutt? how's that gonna work. so sony will make a couple spidey movies capitalizing on this one's success... and in that movie there won't be any mention of the avengers? so it'll be a standalone and we're supposed to pretend the marvel universe doesn't exist. then all the sudden he joins marvel again for the avengers for the next 2 movies? i has confused.

I like the new Spiderman in Civil War as a sidekick. His whole nerd schtick kind of annoyed me for a whole movie, as with his friend. Aunt May being hot and someone everyone else is drooling over is still weird. Michelle MJ character was a nice surprise, as was the hot girl not acting like the typical hot girl. Villain being a dad taking care of his family, and being Michael Keaton, was top notch. He was creepy when he needed to be.
I think I might be officially worn out by all the comic book movies. The fight scenes made me sleepy. We all know the hero's going to win.

Thought the movie was great, not much to add there. But did anyone else think Liz looked like the older Obama daughter?

And @Jontro - don't lie, breh... you'd fap to Zendaya.

Watched Spiderman and Wonderwoman this weekend.

    Spiderman: 9.5/10
Extremely challenging to make a movie where you can root for both sides. Last time i saw this done successfully was in Troy and that movie barely held it together. But they did it here. You like Keaton in the end even though he done what he done. A layered character. 3-D was superb. Put you right in the scenes. Loved when Keaton answered the door. I did not see that coming and it reminded me of course to the classic Parker at Thanksgiving dinner with Green Goblin. Loved the MJ character and liked the fact they gave us nothing about her, except that she is always there. So now you wonder, who the f is she. Good stuff. That's the I know something you don't moment and you are left knowing nothing. Holland was superb. Spiderman on the Washington Monument put you in the moment. Nice visuals. Aunt Mae's WTF moment was great. Captain America Cameo's were funny. Great movie. I also liked how they kept it simple, as opposed to say Wonderwoman and BatmanvSuperman who went galactic. It fit right in with the character and balanced the magnitude of the avengers as they pointed out in the movie.

    Wonderwoman: 8.5/10
Gale Gadot was magnificent. Liked her balance of naive innocence, adventure, power, and strength. She had quite the range. The No Man's Land scene gives you goosebumps. That was about as perfectly executed as it gets. I mean perfect. Soundtrack was great and gears you up. In the end, thought the movie could have, like Spiderman, stayed small and probably should have ended with the NML scene. Ares was a little over the top for me, and it seemed that Dr. poison should have been the focus. Her scene with Pine was nicely done as you got to see Pine be the spy and Dr. poison show weakness, contrary to their characters up to that point. Very good movie overall. There was no need for a love story in my opinion. Not yet anyway. I was surprised by the villain reveal, but in the end, Ares did not work for me as it was too big and too galactic. Reminded me a lot of the Percy Jackson-Sea of Monsters end. Where do they go from here. Too big too fast. I liked the two German villains a little better. Keep it small WW. Overall, left very happy to have seen it.

good catch, i knew that babe looked familiar. has that obama look, but hotter... and more down to earth... and fapfapfap.

Re Zendaya, it's not fair to assess someone based on the jontro fapability meter, since i have low standards. but for the character she's supposed to portray, she falls way short. but then again, kirsten dunce wasn't that hot either. spidey likes his babes butter faced.

No, the next Avengers movie comes out next summer, and Spidey will be in it.

Just because he turned down an official place in the Avengers, that doesn't mean he isn't gonna fight when the fate of the world is a stake, which it will be. At some point in the next Avengers movie, when Tony Stark realizes how deep in it we are, he will need all hands on deck and he will hit up Spider-Man.

Then there will be another Avengers movie in 2019 that will complete the story, then there will be Spider-Man 2 a little later in 2019 that will still be fully involved in the Marvel universe. But after that second Spiderman movie, the deal is over so what happens beyond that is up in the air. Sony could say f**k Marvel, and try to cram Spidey into their own universe, making everything confusing and f**ked up.

I loved how it showed how things could go wrong when fighting crime.

Keaton was so good in this movie. That scene in the car with him and Holland was fantastic.

    Some negatives:
    - The "Ned" character. The actual actor seems like a likeable guy, but I don't think I laughed once while he was on-screen. The whole party scene with the hat prop seemed more cringe than funny.
    - Zendaya's character. I was way more invested in Liz than in Michelle, even though they were trying with the big reveal. If they wiped Liz from the movie during editing, I don't think the film would have been weaker for it.
    - Flash, the bully. You have to be imposing to be a believable bully, whether it's physical, mental or through financial means. The character wasn't physically bigger and wasn't smarter than Peter; and aside from his dad owning the Audi that Peter stole, they didn't explain much in the way of being richer. Dude was just a small, non-threatening douche that really had no business being a bully.

I get that you want to cast a non-white, non-bulky dude to be your bully, but I think it was a miscast.

    Favorite scene was:
when Spidey was crushed under building, and he was absolutely screaming for someone to help him, and then he remembered he was Spidey. The acting by Holland really sold the realization of "Hey, I'm Spider-Man, dammit, and I CAN ****ING DO THIS!"

I must say Micheal Keaton is a d*mn fine actor

His Vulture and the Doc Oct in Spiderman 2 are my favorite villians
I was not a fan of the Garfield films at all

    This one felt great

which is great because didn't he start off as a comedic actor? that's why him being batman was like wtfff, but it paid off.
