    I do get sick of these sportswriters stroking their own meat (uh, that goes for you, too, "Ramona", if that's your real name), knowing that the mention of certain teams is pure clickbait. Rockets? Second-tier. Cleveland, GS, etcetera? Gold!

    As far as Love - Melo being a sideways move, true enough. But if LeBron wants it, then they'll make the effort. Cleveland must certainly be desperate to keep LeBron. He and Melo are boys. Kevin Love is the posse's towel boy, starving for attention. If you had Melo and other players involved, with Love and other players going out (to even out the value of who you get and who you lose)? Then such a deal would be more believable.

    Again, I do get sick of all the, "Write the article from a Cleveland or Golden State angle, that's what sells."

    I think it's clear the Rockets and Knicks agreed to a trade (with or without a 3rd team involved). That deal is acceptable to all parties.

    At least one of the parties (maybe the Knicks, maybe the Rockets, maybe both) then said "Well we have this deal, but if we could add another team, it might be even better for all parties! Lets try to better this deal and if we can't, we'll just go through with the deal we've already agreed to. We have a good deal, but lets try to make it a great deal!"

    This seems pretty clear to me. I only hope they put a deadline on trying to find an upgraded deal, if only for everyone's sanity.
