I mean I get that we have to take a shot, and it is only a 2 year shot with Melo and a 1 year shot with CP3.

But, Harden, CP3 and Melo are all ball dominant players, sure Harden and CP3 are willing passers, but with only 1 ball will they all work well together?

Basketball history says no, but DM is a Wizard so can his Magic work?

    Poll up for giggles.

Have we? I would argue not like this...not as ball dominant as these 3.

I know people are excited, and so am I, but man, this is risky business.

Chris Paul will have more energy to flop and Carmelo more energy to do whatever the hell he does when he is not shooting.

People always miss the point with this question, and that's that it can work as long as they can all shoot. I envision this offense being attack, kick out, shoot or attack or step in and hit mid range jump shots (they are all elite at doing this). It's going to be a hell of a team folks, and that's because they can all shoot the ball very well and also because Harden and Paul are excellent decision makers.

just saw 3 ball dominant players win a couple titles in miami. it works if the guys are unselfish and play the game the right way. same thing people said about GS. its pretty simple

I think it's important to note that CP3 and Melo want(ed) to come to Houston.

It'll work because they're all elite catch and shooters and two of them are the best playmakers in the league.

Carmelo was often the top scorer on the olympic team whilst having almost no time in possession. The guy wants to shoot, not so much dribble.

Yes Melo works best not as the first fiddle in my opinion anyway. Look at Olympic Melo. With Harden as the primary scorer, CP3 as the primary facilitator Melo will thrive like never before.

It worked in the Olympics, so I see no reason for it not to work in the NBA.
