Knicks want some sort of compensation for losing a star, i doubt future 1st with a 28th selection and anderson from the rockets or 23 from a portland team means any value. Gordon would probably start with hardaway in the backcourt, as a poing guard. This is a step foward, with harkless , and new young team. But i see this the price for building around 3 stars. even if camelo is getting old, he can still put up star numbers. It takes alot to build a super team thru trade. I also dont see portland doing any favors for team they gotta face in the west.

I'll be ok because of the Paul addition. Melo was never my first choice and if we end up missing out on him I won't be mad about it.

No thank you. I'll keep the team as is if we will get that and give ego and Ariza. I doubt Ariza is moved he is very well liked by a lot of players and we will need his defense too. He is Harden's bud so I doubt he wants to lose another (we lost Pat :/). We might lose EGo but only if we get something better in return. But I doubt the knicks want him either way. They want to get picks or another star. Preferably picks since they are in rebuilding mode. Imo that's why we need another team besides the knicks. I'm pretty sure Portland wouldn't mind Anderson they need shooters. Idk
