The 3rd team was a rumor and I won't believe rumors until there are multiple sauces and getting really close. People are grasping at straws. As I said Anderson was not playing his best year last year so his trade value is not at its highest. You should know better..... because the whole situation has been going on for days will tell you that it is complicated. I want Melo for now too.

If anderson just improved his home shooting he would have had a career year. He had his highest 3 point percentage of any year of his career that he actually played a good chunk of the season. He also proved he could stay healthy for the year. His contract is just a big number. It makes things hard just becuase of the size of it. Never easy to move any piece that makes that much money. Its always possible though.
He's staking his reputation, If Vince and Ray Allen can play til 40 the way Melo shoots I don't see why he can't either
He will have a possible career year (not necessarily) here because of Chris Paul. Sure, we can use him. He won't have to go. Other teams dun have a Chris Paul or Harden. My post count has nothing to do with my belief or what is realistic. Anderson could be moved but it is hard AF to do it.
Windhorst: Steve Mills believes he's gonna run the Knicks. He's already shaping the team. Tim Hardaway Jr. signing was his move. He didn't do that thinking he'd be in the chair for a few days. Carmelo? Knicks would love to trade him to Houston but have gotten no traction. Rockets would like to trade for him. Pieces just don't match. Knicks have prioritized young players. Rockets don't have the young pieces to get Melo to them that the Knicks wants. ... Carmelo is making almost $30M. That's a big number to swallow. To make this work, they'll need to find a third team to make it possible. Not a lot of 3rd teams interested in helping the Rockets build a super team or take pieces the Knicks don't want. .. Tall task. Interest in doing it. This one will be complicated. There is interest from both sides.
Sounds about right. All the imminent talk was nonsense. Like I originally said, it's s tough deal because the knicks shouldn't want any of our players in theory. This isn't going to get resolved soon. We should get back to our regularly scheduled lives
Teams don't want to help the Rockets but had no problems trying to trade for Bogut so the Warriors could land KD.
This trade will happen. Once Melo gets traded to Houston then at that point is when teams will be relunctant to help Houston.
