Anyone who thinks that EGo and Capela will be included in a deal for Melo doesn't know who our GM is.
Right. I don't think there's any doubt that the Knicks would prefer a Kevin Love package no matter who the GM is. Whether they'd keep Love themselves or ship him to a third team, there's a lot more value there than with Ryan Anderson. The issue has always been (and will always be) that it doesn't make basketball sense for Cleveland to do that move. Love is a better, younger, cheaper player and locked up for more years.
You're not missing much. A rich man's Matt Bullard[/QUOTE] A little harsh but it does ring true. He's much better than Bullard of course, but he really is basically the same guy with better shooting.
From codman's page: Fantastic Four (after: 7) /0 /6 /20/ 3/ 12 FreeBirds as a side-effect (blame Danny/Dolan for holdups) XOXOXOmaybetreasure Puff Puff Pass the narrative called, "Nobody Wants Kevin Love."CleeanUponAisle10_or01/OuchLikeKennyThomas Does anyone know how to interpret This? Is it saying nobody wants love so it's us for melo?
For a moment thought the guy was making videos again, disappointed. Those videos were absolute brilliance, dude needs to make em again.
Love better than Melo? Don't bring that around here haha! We've had back and forth on this for days lol.
Except Anderson is not a better shooter. Bullard has a better 3p%, and their efg% are exactly the same for their careers. Anderson is a better rebounder than Bullard. But Bullard was better at assists. Bullard was the better value though. Bullard made 8.5 million for his entire career, while Anderson makes almost 20 million a year.
i think the only way capela and gordon is included in this deal is if we get lee, o'quinn and a future first round pick. for all the ppl saying melo is nothing but a 3rd or fourth option with us, he will be our second option. Nobody on the team is better than him but harden or cp3 but Cp3 will become a 18 and 13 player, Harden will be in his 28 6 7 form and Melo will be a 25 8 3 player.... now how is he a 3rd or 4th option? don't get fooled about gordon making 200 3s and **** make you think he's a better option than a future top 25 scorer of all time, top 100 player of all time and top 10-20 player in the league right now

But Bull at his peak was a dead eye shooter, in an era where the value of that wasn't properly appreciated
