I don't think it applies to multiple trades, but i could be wrong. I thought it only applies once. If it doesn't work out this year, at least he is an expiring deal going into next season which we could likely easily get rid of.
Ryan Anderson is a good valuable player and he is moveable. The problem is that moving him requires that the Rockets either take on another salary in trade or entice with draft picks. The Rockets are light on draft picks and young players to trade to another team to take Anderson or to give to NY. Hence why negotiations have been slow. The press conference could have been pushed back for the Harden extension only.
Just a thought. If NYK hires David Griff, then it certainly leans toward our favor rather than him dealing with the cavs. Nyk and cavs both don't have a GM as of now. Trollol
Well last night was eventful in my world. I woke up still drunk this morning with my girl mad at me. Sooo.... What did I miss besides @KlutchQT calling out @Zoplicone 's biitch ass..
I don't think me and @malakas have had any exchanges (could be wrong, I clearly don't worry too much about posters on a forum as much as you do) Soooo, not only are you rude, but you're stupid too.... But its alright cuz YOURE STILL DRUNK FROM LAST NIGHT FCKKK YAAAHHHHHHH loser
Why I think this deal WILL go down: At this point, the Knicks have already gotten rid of their biggest distraction, sending Uncle Phil back to Wyoming or Idaho or wherever he lives. Now their best bet is to get rid of the next biggest distraction, Melo. Not saying he's a bad teammate, but he's still the focal point of that team, the leader, etc, and if he doesn't buy in completely, nobody else will. Time to move him out and reestablish a new culture around PZing and whatever non-distractions you can place around him. Step 3 is not re-signing the other distraction, DRose. Then you have a new team with a good young star and an owner with deep pockets, but no brain. Good luck with that.
Everyone here needs to realize that getting an elite scorer is going to require value in return. Ego might be necessary to push the trade forward. We're in WIN NOW mode. Plus dude so happen to be injury free last season...a rarity. You have to do whatever it takes to bring Melo here. Once that happens, players are gonna come knocking. Talent is a necessity to beat the Warriors. You can out-hustle talent until talent decides to hustle. Melo is the key to opening the door to future possibilities.
There's so much useless banter in here. Go find a tweet or something to add to the thread. Speculation on which players being traded belongs in to the random trade thread.
I heard the knocks really like lee and want to keep him and find more players like him. Lets hope they dont insist on ego for lee.
Isn't it obvious the Rockets are almost certain they are getting Melo? They haven't had a press conference with CP3 yet and probably holding out to do it altogether to have that wow factor. It's just a matter of time.
