I have a feeling that Anthony will be staying in New York or the Knicks will try to convince him to agree to a trade to another team. If there were not issues involving compensation, this trade would already be done.
I hope you're wrong, not that I think you're wrong. I ***might*** be okay with it if they tack on Kyle O'quinn too. Not saying I will be, but hes one of the most underrated bigs in the league. Dude is ready to explode onto the scene. Paul Harden/Lee Ariza/Tucker Melo Capela/O'quinn/Nene I'd still rather have Gordon after looking at that, but it would lessen the blow.
Man, just got back from vacation and this place turned into a zoo. Figured I would make a post here, don't know why.
As much as I want you to be wrong ( I prefer Gordon to lee) I think you are probably right . I think the Knicks know that we need melo and can leverage Gordon out of us.
It took two days to work out the details of the Paul trade after Houston and Los Angeles agreed to it. Two days of working out details before we heard about it.
welcome back! you missed some signature moments that will be referenced for a while but there will be plenty more lol.
Not saying its a great idea...but it seems like people on here think of old Suns Leandro Barbosa and he's currently nowhere near that.
My bet Houston get melo and Ed Davis or Leonard in 2 diferents trades (with the no gurantee contracts) NY get Crabbe or Harkless Portland get Anderson Why for Hou: we get Melo, a big upgrade over RA and Melo contract is one year shorter. The price is taking Davis or Leonard long bad contract Why for NY. They get a young player to add to they new core and they end the Carmelo era. Why for Portland. They need to unload contracts and $$$ and RA is a nice adition to play with Nurkic.
A washed Melo still had better stats than Gordon Hayward last year. If he's willing to accept his role as a second/third option, watch out NBA.
