Huh? Where's the mention of the individuals Trump hired early in his campaign with ties to Russian and Eastern European banks and oligarchs?
Except that nobody I've seen in the media, or on the left, or in this godforsaken forum seriously has ever said, "Trump is a Russian spy." Otherwise, great post! But seriously, where is that said? Is it just a FauxNews strawman they claim the "librulz!" are saying? I honestly wouldn't know. I don't think he's a Russian spy, at all, but he's most def who Putin wanted in our White House. And he most def has a ton of people around him w' weird Russian connections. It's worth three different government investigations, so, aside from the right's obsession with saying the issue is "done" prematurely, we just have to see what the investigations find. Maybe nothing. I've said a million times I think Trump is stupid but in this case clean. He didn't knowingly collude with Russia. He doesn't knowingly do much of anything. LOL.
Seriously? "Trump colluded with Russia". That is a common theme expressed by the never-Trump crowd. Colluding with spies would necessarily make one a spy. And also we have the "dossier" which started all of this (how we have forgotten). Therefore: 1. Someone visited Russia in 2013. 2. ??? 3. Trump is a Russian spy.
1. Flynn had to resign because he met with Russia for Trump. 2. Sessions had to recuse himself because he met with Russia and lied about it. 3. Kushner has been caught lying about his omittance of his Russian meetings. Mueller is still investigating things like the Trump campaign looking for Hillary's emails with a direct contact to Russia. There are facts here, let's not ignore them because they make your favorite blow hard look bad. There are FACTS here, and there is smoke there.....lots still to come. DD

Yeah, totally seriously: Oversimplify all you want, but a whole lot of the adults in the room, from many political traditions and perspectives, seriously want the truth, whatever its graininess and complexity. Just above this post, you have Trump campaign officials, including his son-in-law, meeting with a Putin-friendly lawyer. Maybe Trump didn't even know about it. But considering a mountain of various American interests would have wanted Trump's team's time, WTF is that meeting about? Since Putin clearly wanted Trump elected*, even this one tiny example question is more than a valid American question -- it's a necessary American question. And it won't matter if a handful of you want to polarize, oversimplify, or ridicule the three-part investigation that most Americans want to see through to a conclusion. It really won't. The horses and hounds are out of the barn and off the porch, bro. Got to just let 'em all run and hunt and see what comes back home by morning. * = that's according to our intelligence agencies, but I am fully understanding now, with SAD!ness, that some Americans now trust Putin's word over most Americans.
Democrats have created one of the greatest obstruction of justices in American history by using the material within the "dossier" as justification for steering the Russia investigation away from Russia and towards Trump. Democrats have no interest in finding who was behind the DNC hack nor its breadth and why it happened. Their only concern is dragging Trump's name into the conversation in a bizarre attempt to release his tax returns. It's a little earlier to be flinging the 2020 poo. Shouting "Russia" in a crowded theater is not going to do anyone any good. I wish some people could cast aside the embarrassment-fueled vitriol of their party in favor of a clear-minded approach toward discovering the details of the DNC hack and its implications for this nation going forward.
I hope you didn't pick up this penchant for gross hyperbole from a certain POTUS. LOL. Some Democrats? Maybe. But a lot of Democrats actually care. We'll just disagree. Totally agree, but notice how your statement works equally well for both parties at this point. Lot of embarrassment and vitriol to go around. Kind of ... sad! Cheers.
The GOP controls every branch of government. There is no obstruction beyond its inability to get out of its own way.
What do you mean by this post? Did Bush and/or Obama have multiple people in their circles meet with Russians during their campaigns before they were elected?
I am not implying that. I am asking what the question asks specifically. I am curious if it has been a common occurrence with the last few administrations. I personally don't have a clue to assume one way or the other.
A crime? That is what is being investigated. But certainly the Trump campaign and members of his inner circle sure seemed to have lots of meetings with the Russians. Many of which seemed to have slipped their minds and weren't reported as required. Lots of meetings... secret meetings. And the excuses afterwards? To discuss adoptions appears to be Trump Jrs excuse. I had so many meetings reporting slipped my mind was Trump's son-in-laws excuse, later repeated by his lawyer. And the latest excuse.. this meeting was a setup? I guess that is why there are not one, not two, but three separate investigations going on. So this latest undisclosed meeting between Trump's inner circle and Russia will get added to the list of things to be investigated.
