Alot of us are worried about this. Again if we get Olympic Melo then... we are good. We just need a real vocal strong leader that Melo respects. I am hoping Chris Paul can be that guy. With Melo he can either help us get our first ring in years or he can turn into the nuke that makes everyone leave.
I had a dream once that I played for the Rockets. Except it was pool basketball. The court was submerged in about 4 feet of water and it was full court pool ball. So I guess I can't really same the same for myself
Paul is perfect to lead the team, allows Melo to kind of just do him and not worry about everything else. Anytime he's with a player like that he follows their lead, it's just been so rare in his career. He's never been a nuke, he's got a bad rap for being a malcontent but it's so far from the truth.
Regardless of the outcome Morey is doing everything within his power to get this Big 3. I can respect that
Melo is an incredible athlete. He can fit in any system well in this stage of his career. There are a lot of jerks here. just ignore them.
I really didn't want to trade for Melo's contract. Would have rather waited till February and see if NY buys him out. We'd be fine till then. I do really want Melo though. Only thing that looks worrisome is his really bad playoff FG% and 3PT%
