You seem so determined to either support Trump, or give credit for Trump for "controlling the conversation" that you ignore what others are saying. Again, how much time does it take me or someone else to disprove what Trump tweets? And which "more important topics" and I being distracted from? Healthcare? Immigration? Taxes? Infrastructure? The Supreme Court? Am I missing some discussion? Again, I believe our president should not be casually lying about any topic. It hurts those he is lying about, it hurts the American people, and it hurts the very office of the president. Simply ignoring it gives it credence, especially to those that suck in every thing he says (or tweets). You see it even here. You seem to either like his lies, or at least seem willing to let the lies slide. Which I think is perhaps the biggest problem with the Trump presidency.
Given that he's failing to accomplish just about everything on his agenda and is the least popular president in modern US history, what makes you think he's controlling the narrative, or that the "leftist" response is harming them? No success with health care repeal, tax cuts, Dodd-Frank repeal, the wall, NAFTA renegotiation, or anything else that he doesn't solely control within the executive department. If that's the result of focusing on and magnifying every tweet, it seems like it's been a fairly successful strategy.
Trump makes an absurd comment and insinuates everyone at the G20 is talking about Podesta and the emails. You stoop to his level and make an even more outlandish thread title "The Whole World .... " but you're defense is "well uhh, I am not the POTUS". You think you're being cute and all, but when EVERYONE (see how I did that) stoops to his level, then the conversation of politics evolves into nothing more than gutter talk with everyone trying to outdo each other with the lowest level of intelligent conversation. This is exactly how its become. Trump has made politics a complete joke and everyone is following suit. Its pretty pathetic when even Hillary is retorting to making sniping sarcastic remarks, mimicking Trump. But America enjoys their drama. This is exactly what they crave.
Trump is not controlling the narrative, he is garnering attention, but the narrative is about how much of a lying sack of **** he is. DD
Yes... controlling the narrative to the tune of a 40% approval rating; one of the lowest in US history... seems to be working for him.
Getting free media attention during the campaign worked for Trump, not so much when results are expected. "Winning" isn't so subjective once you move past the campaign phase.
Which is why Trump almost immediately went back into campaign mode, beyond setting up his Trump 2020 organization. His public appearances, even his foreign speeches are essentially campaign speeches. And to his supporters, policy isn't important, its "the winning." So he doesn't really care about policy...
Why does space ghost get so triggered when someone finds trumps twitter posts amusing? Trump fans and "not a trump fan but always defend him on the internet" act like such snowflakes
Trump asks do you have Clinton missing email? Putin said no, but you should get the FBI to look at the DNC server.
In fairness to SG, Trump is in the 40% approval rating, but his health package is in the sub 20%. If you stick to healthcare over the past 2 weeks, he could loss support from his base. Nay, who am I kidding.
Actually no... "everybody" is probably talking about how you let your daughter hold state responsibilities at the G20. I'm sure Trump fans would be cool with Malia or Chelsea doing this for a big bad Democratic president.
eh... not a big deal to me, regardless of G20 or diplomatic decorum rules. I actual commend Trump for this... I always support "Bring Your Daughters to Work" days...
I keep telling y'all: she is the next figure of the Trump reign. That is the plan, as much as there is a plan. Voter suppression, voter confusion, Trump term 2, then Ivanka. By Then we will have fully become a forgettable, also-ran, laughing stock country.
The US declared independent from royalty 241 years ago so that it can have its own version under the Trump royal family.
Seriously though, the crybaby nonsense about the faux outrage story of the day is really getting tiresome....but at least you crazy nutjobs aren't trying to murder congressmen yet, so I guess that's something.
