10 out of 11 good-to-great outings would be the very definition of consistency. Are you looking for mythical a pitcher that never has bad outings?
And of course the first thing he does when he gets back to the dugout... jots something down in his journal. ugh
Awww shucks! Marwin really didn't have much of a gripe but the frustration of bad uncontested calls in the past probably finally took it's toll on him.
The ump had those strikes marwin didn't like correct so don't get why marwin was upset. then he must have said the magic word in spanish and it wasn't porfavor to the ump. crazy game. now I see diaz is in.
I think im the only one who likes not showing emotion in sports. I always hear guys criticize baseball, bball, and nfl guys for not showing "fire" and just looking "dead" I dont think there is any correlation between that and performance. Its just not logical imo. Maybe i have a soft spot for it because im a mellow dude who stays focused and emotionless while working. Not everyone is russell westbrook or odell beckham jr. And that might be a good thing...
I'm becoming more convinced that Luhnow would be better served getting us 2 solid bullpen arms than worrying about starting pitching at all. Keuchel, McCullers + the best of what we have now might be enough if our bullpen is stout.
