I'd be cool with Ilyasova or Dunleavy at MIN to round out frontcourt

That leaves 1 obvious Need:
Wings are crying for some athleticism and play making off the bench behind statue shooters Ariza & PJT

How realistic is Tyreke Evans if we jumped now with full BAE?

He could absolutely be our X factor to swing a tough playoff series
Think about what noted chucker JR Smith brought to Cavs once he joined their super squad

Brings similar play making + scoring we haven't had from a wing since Parsons
Strong and quick enough to be versatile inside & out on D when he wants

Probably out of our budget unless he REALLY wants to be here

I like Ego, but he's kinda overrated on here...I see people acting like he's on Klay's level

 

He's not bad, he was just dissapointing in the playoffs and literally can only shoot 3s. Rebounding and D suck

I think it's more his contract that makes him appear bad then his actual play

He actually can do more than just shoot 3's. He did more on the Pelicans. But it seems the Rockets only want him to shoot 3's.

That's why he's averaging less points. They are only letting him shoot 3's when in the past he would also score in other ways.

I thought about Ersan, but I just assumed he'd be able to do better than the minimum even with the market as dry as it is

for a wing, I have my eye on Vince Carter....he's still got some game

I'm not sure about Tyreke because he's kinda useless without the ball in his hands and we already have Harden, CP3, and Ego who I'd rather have using our possessions

 

I think we can all agree that if that leads to Lebron we do it all day

 

Melo in our system would be as close to Olympic Melo as it gets, I'd take that over Gordon

people underestimate just how dangerous Melo is at the 4

 

The reason why that the Rockets are willing to trade Anderson but not really Gordon is this:

They want Melo to primarily play PF, which replace's Anderson's minutes. Gordon, on the other hand, is still needed to play all of those guard minutes off the bench next to either Harden or Paul.

 

Oh hell yes. If it leads to lebron, you clear cap space to pay dwade 20 mil if thats what lebron wants lol.

I just dont think dwade is worth teams using cap space on to be a major piece to build around anymore. Hes past his athletic prime and is not a good 3 point shooter. Doesnt work in the modern nba

The other banans boat guys are all at least decent shooters (paul and melo good ones) and either havent lost their athleticism or dont rely on it as much as wade.

Plus, good Gordon is a star. When he was hot last year we were the second best team in basketball

 

He was unstoppable as a 4 under Woodson.
