    I trust Filipino Krillin. Being out of shape and dressing like a slob makes it more likely he's worked in sports journalism and still has sources.

    I generally find the less in character or expected a person looks, the more potentially dangerous they are. It's like a fat ninja/assassin, you would never expect it until it's too late.

    I think Portland's cap situation is being unrepresented. They are in cap hell. They were already rumored to be trying to trade a contract with a 1st as compensation.

    While Crabbe and Ryan have near identical albatross contracts, new York may prefer or like the youth of Crabbe and his fit next to Porzingis.

    Meanwhile Portland may like how Ryan gives the roster balance and thus prefer his contract since he's currently the better player also.

    But those NGs can be very useful here. Because it would allow Portland to shed another contract for cap relief.

    New York gets Crabbe, (Meyers or harkless) and por1st

    Portland gets Ryan, NGs and possibly the Memphis 2nd

    Houston gets melo

    New York gets younger and a pick that could be decent

    Portland gains better roster balance and cap relief of about 10m this year and the entire of the contract going forward

    Houston gets 3rd star

    exactly, this could be smart for Portland. Anderson might not be their dream player, but combined with the cap relief of the non-guaranteed guys it would help them shed salary and get a viable player, as opposed to shipping out players with draft picks attached just to get out of cap hell.
