Rockets get: Carmelo Anthony Knicks get: Trevor Ariza Ryan Kelly Shawn Long Josh McRoberts Tim Quarterman Isaiah Taylor 2022 2nd-round pick (from Miami) 2022 2nd-round pick (from Houston) Heat get: Ryan Anderson 2020 1st-round pick (from Houston; protected 1-14) Seen this on a article just on espn.
Honestly, I would be pissed if we had to give up any REAL assets outside of Ryan Anderson in order to get Melo.
Probably because the person taking the picture was far away and zoomed in to take the photo. The more you zoom in the more fuzzy the picture.
Flight number on it is legit, too. UA 1156 left LGA at 7:04 this morning and arrived at IAH at 9:32. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UAL1156
I agree. Ariza doesn't seem like the defender he was a few years ago, but he's still a locker room glue guy that can hit 3s at a good clip and has a decent salary. I'd try to keep Ariza if possible.
Ryno and Smart to NY Melo to Houston non-guarantees + 2 2nd rounders to Boston NY gets a sweetener for taking on Ryno Houston gets that 3rd star that they're seeking and NY finally moves on from Melo Boston gets the cap space required to sign Hayward and 2 2nd rounders as assets for Smart
Ariza still a big deal for us in DBPM Don't want to give him away, plus I believe trading him would be on the "no-no" list for new Team President Chris Paul. Right @Carl Herrera
