because it doesn't make sense. Will Utah want to throw in a first? not likely Why would Ainge trade the most cost controlled player of the roster when next year both Smart and Bradley are set to receive huge contracts that will put them in very big luxury tax trouble? If Crowder is really a lockeroom problem with Hayward then fine, but then again Utah?
Why should Utah throw in a 1st. Unless they are desperate for a player like Crowder, that doesn't make any sense. They are helping Ainge give Hayward the max. I guess plenty of teams might be calling, but trade makes sense to me.
Jae Crowder is a good player that would fit in with them. Not sure why they would demand picks when Ainge can find plenty of takers for Crowder/Bradley/Smart.
Because Ainge does not need Utah's help. Crowder isn't some kind of huge bad contract. A S+T is not neccessary. He could easily trade him elsewhere and receive a first rounder. If UTAH gets Crowder they have to give back an incentive.
Jae Crowder does not move the needle for Utah. It does not make sense for them to throw in a 1st rounder. I understand that Boston doesn't need them to make the trade, therefore in that case Utah should keep their 1st rounder.
that's why I said I don't see how this happens in the first place. Right now it's either Utah prepared to throw a 1st or a young prospect or Ainge is playing around trying to raise Crowder's price to other teams interested.
It makes sense. They need to get Max cap space for Hayward. Boston has a plethora of wings now. They do need to open up minutes to develop these players. I could see Utah giving a 1st for crowder. With regards to a SnT I think they could get one of smart or Avery for compensation of doing the SnT. Jae/avery to utah Hayward/1st to Boston
Nope. No way. Utah doesn't deserve compensation for doing the S+T because it is not needed. Boston has other options. They can use other teams to do trades for Smart or Bradley. Anyway out of the 3, trading Crowder is the most idiotic. How are they going to pay next year? Or are they trading both Bradley and Crowder
Why So you are saying Utah lose not only Hayward but also a first round draft pick for crowder????? Wouldn't u just rather not get involved and let Boston figure it out on their own??
