    It is basically a gamble. Even with the addition of Chris Paul, we are nowhere near Warriors' level. We need at least 1 (may be 2) more All-Star level players to have a chance to compete with them. Given no other stars available, even IF adding Melo means a higher probability of making the team worse than making it better (which is arguable), you have to do it.

    I'm not gonna lie, I've seen Melo's workouts this summer with Brickley, and he has no lift and is slow as hell (this is evident just by watching him play the last 2 years as well), but he would be great alongside Harden and CP3
