I truly believe they always pretty much know but just take a break clearing their head working up courage before they announce it.

I dont believe in the concept of "that was the decision that i woke up wit dis morning"

fwiw: we traded our 45th pick for the worst of the MEM, ORL or MIA 2nd round pick next year

We will probably own the MIA 2nd round pick if Hayward goes there.

With MIN, OKC, DEN and POR (Nurkic for full year) getting better and Zo leaving MEM, MEM is no lock for playoffs. We don't want MIA to get better here. Ideally, all three teams (MIA, ORL and MEM) miss the playoffs so our trade of #45 gets better.

He wanted to stay in Utah after basking in all the love in the three cities but then Bricky Rubio came along to **** things up.

He was probably joking about wanting to play with Bricky. He didn't think Jazz would be stupid enough to go and get him.

He's definitely the best FA player this year though, so that is why.

I thought Chris Paul was the best free agent player this year.

So they dont need Gobert? Anderson and fillers for Gobert:)
He definitely is. Hayward has great potential to be an multiple allstar in his career but CP3 is that player already.

    To an extent.

There are two different kinds of UFAs in my mind though.

Young stars that still have potential
    Old Stars that don't.

CP3 falls in the latter, you know what you are getting with him. Hayward though can still get better, even if it is just slightly.

He's made a decision but wants drama associated with the announcement.

If it was the Jazz or Heat, I bet he would have announced today and enjoyed turning things upside down. Since the leak is correct, gotta wait until tomorrow in hopes of recreating intrigue.

He would propel the celtics to contention status. Not sure if you're being serious...

Sure it's working well for Hayward this stalling and delaying.

Meh, Hayward doesn't scare me. A team with him as one of your main will never win a championship. Book it.
