Was so puzzled by the Knight mention. Chandler makes sense, though. We need elite rebounding for many 3's as we take, our tendency to use a small-ball 4 and Anderson's allergy to rebounding.
Jamal Crawford traded to the Hawks and will seek buyout according to Windhorst. Vet min to come here?
unfortunately Anderson isn't a good rebounder, but then that is a skill and doesn't really read the ball well off the glass or have decent jumping ability to grab them
Yuck. He is an airhead. The kind of player that even if he is on a team of 4 superstars, can still take more shots than all of them combined.
He could ball a few years ago. The guy disappears in the playoffs and he is streaky as hell. He is a ball hog as well and plays awful defense. I really hope the Rockets don't knock on his door.
Wonder if ATL and Crawford can get involved in a Melo deal. Melo to HOU Anderson to Atlanta Crawford to NY Other smaller pieces can be added and Houston gives Atlanta a pick for taking on the additional salary.
Wishful thinking I'm afraid. On the flip side, between Montae, Barbosa, and Crawford, I'll take Jamal. He's the best shooter and has played with CP3. And you can rest assured that if he comes here, it's because CP3 values him and that's enough for anyone to believe in the acquisition IMO.
Hell no to Crawford. I respect that he can still play a young man's game with crossovers and difficult pull up jumpers at 36. Most guys that age don't have anymore shake and bake. But he has sucked in every playoffs while in LA and they went to the playoffs every year so he's had plenty of chances. His poor shooting and non-existent defense is a big part of the reason why they couldn't advance farther. I don't want that anchor following CP3 here when we have a much better bench player in Eric Gordon.
If like to see vc here. He's a smart player can shoot but not to great on defense. Definitely a good mentor.
No way we can get Green. Would be a good player in our system, but I am sure the Grizzlies are keeping him.
I meant as a center. He's 6'10 and has always been a savy rebounder. I don't know if you watched him last year or if you're going off past preconceived conclusions but he was really good for the Lakers. So yes I think with good coaching he can be serviceable. He's got a pretty good post and midrange game but isn't anywhere near as polished as Nene is, he can work the pick and roll but isn't the spring rabbit Capela is. He'd be a good blend of Capela and Nene. Just my opinion
