I agree. I think they're holding out in hopes to get some value out of his contract, but will ultimately buy him out before training camp. No need to rush things right now, especially considering they're in the midst of a front-office overhaul.

Can't this kid play center? All he needs to do is bulk up for defense and they can have an amazing five out offense. Imagine them starting porzingis and having anderson back him up and bringing kris back in at center. Ryan anderson gets 30 minutes and they get to run 5 out, the future of the nba. Swing the ball, pick and roll, cuts with elite spacing.

This gives kris a ton of room to operate. They need a face that kris is never gonna be a back it down post player because he's too frail. He needs to learn how to face up bigger guys and take them off the dribble and shoot over them like dirk.

If trading half our roster for Chris Paul isn't the Rockets going all in then I'm really confused. We were already significantly better than both those teams and have improved considerably.

As for the Wolves, good luck making up that 24-game gap relative to a Houston club that also added a better player (Chris Paul) than anyone Minnesota did.

 

The Thunder getting George doesn't mean they are going all in more than us. We just got Chris Paul and is still trying to add to this roster by trading for Melo. If that's not all in I don't know what is.

We have a damn good team going into next season, if anything we need to focus on getting some more decent back ups since it's hard to believe that we can replicate Anderson/Gordon/Nene's health of last season.
