How about in 11 games he had 5-6 bad ones in which we only lost four. Get over it.

Shooters can have bad shooting nights

There is no amnesty clause we used tgat on Scola way back when.

Morey must be kicking himself for that 18M 4 year contract. No other teams wants to touch that stinking pile of doodoo despite Brown lost it and Yolo's protests.

All I care about is the percentage where he shot an abysmal 28% for the entire playoffs. Get over it.

Limited sample size, if we want to talk about statistics your sample size is way too small

Also, the only stat that matters in the end is wins and losses

You never should have entered this game with me

The rockets were 5-5 without ryan anderson last season. A measly 500 team, just like they were in the prior season without him. Boom.

The rockets were 50-22 with ryan anderson. Elite

Even in games where he shoots bad in the playoffs we win because teams respect his shooting. That's the great thing, the numbers do not lie and they have to respect his three pointer from 40 feet out

It's called "gravity" and has been a popular theory with analytics guys in the Curry era.

He's happy for the moment. But, watch for him to come back mid-season in better shape. He still has good ties to Htown, esp. that D12 is gone. Sad story.

Wtf is this r****ded logic? Well Rockets were 5-5 without Troy Williams last year. A measly 0.500 team. Boom.

How can you respect a shooter who shoots 28% from the 3? They would encourage him to keep shooting, and thats why MDA benched his sorry ass.

Anderson shot 40% in the regular season which is great but only shot 28% in the playoffs which is ridiculous and he undoubtedly a net negative otherwise his PT wouldn't be cut. Why keep pointing out his regular season figures when those don't matter? You keep ignoring the big elephant in the room which is Anderson's performance in the playoffs has been abysmal and not the type of guy we need if the Rox want to beat the likes of the Spurs, Cavs and GSW.

I don't have a vendetta against Anderson, if he plays great I will be the first one praising him. I don't know wtf you are smoking but you are high on something if you think Andersons performance in the playoffs was anything but pathetic.

His career playoff 3pt% is just 32%, still too low for a guy who doesn't defend and doesn't rebound. Are his career numbers still too low a sample size? Wtf

gravity is real, some people think its fake you know.
The rox were 50-22 with ryan, not with troy williams. Convenient how you ignored that part. Convenient how you ignore harden coming off his best statistical season after his worst season as a rocket. We tried to run smoove and tjones as our stretch 4 and we got killed, remember? Harden would get doubled/trapped and he gave it to them and clank, or turnover.

Do that with ryan and its money.

I'm not ignoring Anderson's contribution, but at the end of the you pay a guy big bucks to show up in the playoffs not in the regular season. Smith played like crap in the regular season but he delivered in the series against Clippers. And he made the minimum so what if he sucked? Anderson has a career 3 pt% of only 32% in the playoffs even if he hits his career average that still sucks for a guy who can only shoot and makes 18M.

Btw aren't you the same guy who made that trade Harden thread? You wanted Harden traded after 1 bad game but he actually played better than Anderson that game, at least he put points on the board Anderson missed all his shots and scored a 0. And that was his 2nd 0 pt game in the series how come your small sample size argument applies to Anderson but doesn't apply to Harden?

so I guess the "high percentage" that OP thought wasn't high enough.
Well I knew that it woud happen since Millsap always liked the most money rather than being in competitive teams. Well good for him that he got paid at his age!
