High percentage landing Paul Milsap to the Rockets according to ESPN

his 2018 year is only guaranteed till June 20, 2018 too. Bascially, he is on expiring.

 

And if we got Millsap we would say "No more days of Rhyan Anderson getting abused by teams in the playoffs" because Millsape is a clear cut upgrade.
Anyway I don't care to debate more about someone we have no chance to get because Anderson's contract is horrendous.

Anderson is a better shooter than Millsap, fine, Millsap is better in everything else.

LMA actually had his best series against us...btw, his post defense is decent, the problem is that post defense is just a small part of defense as today, and Ryan sucks in every other defensive aspect, lol at "he's not a bad pick & roll defender like you make it seem"...he is, that's why he gets burned by everyone the few times he's able to switch staying in front of his man...get real, nobody hates Ryan here, but it's a fact that he's a bad defender overall, everyone knows this from years, that's why every analyst is saying his contract is bad and that you would've to send something out with him to get rid of that contract (some of them are saying teams are asking for two 1st rounders lol). If he was at least ok on defense he would have had a row after him last summer, not just the Rockets after they strike out on Horford and the freaking Kings. I don't get why you have to be over defensive about him, he is who he is, nobody is saying we should cut him or kill him aside for some stupid troll, we just want to upgrade the positon to have a better team.

Oh, and his shooting problem at the Toyota Center is also a big hole to consider, you cannot live with a starter not being able to shoot at home in the playoff, that's a big problem too.

 

If he was doing a good job on d then why was he benched? If he was doing a good job on D why was Harden and Ariza defending LMA? If he was doing a good job why did Aldridge get 18/14 and 35/12????

 

Statistically he shot 28% from 3 in the playoffs. If he shot 40% like he was supposed to do then we wouldn't be having this conversation.

What were his home game shooting % again? LOL who gives a **** what he shoots in regular season with Nene Capela Harden CP3 and Gordon we dont need help in the regular season.

If I had to choose between Melo and Millsap I would go with Millsap assuming the contracts are roughly comparable. That said, neither one really excite me all that much when you consider the price tags they likely demand.

If we could get one or both to take pay cuts then I would be in favor.

 

I think he does good for what is expected of him.

 

Playoff runs are small sample sizes, particularly when you don't get out of the second round.

Anderson is trash which is why Rockets are so desperately trying to offload him and also why they are having such a hard time finding any takers in this age of bloated contracts.
