[ESPN] Carmelo Anthony to sign with Rockets if buyout reached

If I'm not mistaken If he gets bought out we could sign him for pennies because he's still gonna be getting paid a few years from the Knicks but out

This is something morey has to make happen. Give them that 2020 first if you have to just do it. S&T Tucker and then trade Ryno and a first for Melo. Use whatever remaining MLE you got to bring in another big man and we set

Is there proof they're laughing at Melo? I can't see anything on that screen.

 

It's hard to tell. Speculative at best, but you can kind of see a video similar to the one posted in this thread of Melo working out on the soccer field being played on that phone. That's what some people seem to think they're laughing at.

Someone on Twitter zoomed in on the picture and it does look like Carmelo's workout.

Expect nothing less from the Knicks.

It really is......I'm not the biggest Melo fan but he doesn't deserve the public disrespect he's been getting from the Knicks FO. They haven't been the model organization by any means and Melo has been taking the high road through all of this.

 

Very nice. It always seemed like she thought anywhere but New York was a dump or something...and also the ESPN sorts have continued to try to spin the Melo situation into a "Cleveland or Boston or BUST" scenario, when its obvious that its certainly more complex.
