In this offense, Draymond won't be able to stay on Love. And what Melo highlights have you been watching? LOL

    I'd rather have Melo

Kevin Love gets used and abused against GS

we need someone who can actually go at Draymond...Melo can get buckets on his own against the best of defenses, Kevin Love can't

Carmelo Anthony every single day of the week and twice on sunday over Kevin Love.

Melo just needs a winning atmosphere along with his friend CP3 to get the juices flowing again.

I dont care what any one says, he is a elite offense threat, and could put up 60 on any given night.

We have to to have that kind of fire power as our #3rd option to win that ship and beat GS.

OH..... and to fulfil our dream of having the banana boat come to Houston next year.

I agree with u, but 60 on any given night? Chill

but yeah, Melo over Love who is soft and will be a liability against GS

Call me crazy, but I prefer Love for a couple reasons that I haven't seen too much talk about.

His passing. Those insanely accurate full court dimes after a defensive rebound would add another level of intensity to our fastbreaks.

Additionally, he'd instantly be our best post up option down low when the half court game is needed (3 pt shooting droughts, playoffs vs teams camping on 3pt line, etc). He doesn't get to use it in CLE but it was a solid part of his game prior to arriving there.

Neither of those guys are going to get us over the top against GSW unless injury occurs

    However, I'd rather have Melo

    1. Melo's upside is much higher
    2. Adds one more close bud of LeBron.

Dont undersell Melo against GS. GS gets by because Draymond is allowed to run wild. Melo eliminates that ish right away. Draymond will have problems guarding Melo and it'll force GS to do something outside of the box. Paul & Melo pick & roll would destroy the whole NBA

No doubt that you put Melo here with this talent and you get Olympics Melo.

    It's a no brainer.

If you can bring him here you do everything possible to make it happen.

Forget all those other scrub ass players.

I'm curious about the D'Antoni-Melo relationship, but outside of that I agree. Melo in this offense, assuming all parties are happy, is basically Olympic off ball Melo. A constant off-ball moving, spot up shooter and a convenient p&r matchup.

The Paul & Melo, Melo & Harden, Paul & Melo P&R will be deadly. Very few guys, even at this stage of his career, can guard Melo 1 on1. He'd be extremely efficient here. I think he'd be an easy 24ppg/7-8rpg guy here with little usage and probably among his highest %s across the board.

He's also a great player to have out there by himself when Paul & Harden are resting just to keep minutes down. Plus, he's cool with Paul and Ariza.

I think it'd take our 2020 1st to get him, with Ryno, if we need to sweeten the deal. And I think we know that, we're just working out other options in the meantime. I geniunely feel we'll take him, unless Boston comes up desperately and is offering a nice asset for him to add a punch to a Hayward signing or fill a void of missing all these legit stars out here that won't go to them.

In our death lineup, Dray would be on PJ. And PJ would get the tony allen treatment, PJ isn't some 3&D player we think. He's a 33-34% 3pt shooter, in our system jack that up 2% about so 35-36% which is really good don't get me wrong. But it'd basically be 4 on 5, Dray wouldn't be on Melo, Durant or Iggy would be. And Klay on Harden.

Even our p&r switchups and options behind the usual Harden or Paul with Capela, meaning Harden/Paul P&R, Melo/Paul P&R, or Melo/Harden p&r won't cause issues unless they switch Curry onto Harden or Melo. Then **** will get real. They'd still help off of PJ. Pjs main value will be the small ball 4/5. But we need more depth stilll. Nene-PJ-Gordon is solid we need a 3rd string C capable of playing 20mpg half the season, and another guard 3&D player.

I watched Ryan Anderson score 29 against Green and the Warriors. In this offense. What were you watching?

Oh ok. Based on that you must not want Carmelo either. How did he do against the Warriors? How did he do in the playoffs?

Love on the Cavs <<<<<< Love on the Rockets

If I had to choose between those two, I'd say Love. I have less dislike for him than for Melo.
