This lady drove him to New York in the first place and look at how that has worked out for him . He is universally less well thought of than when he was in Denver . His play slipped , and New York couldn't put anyone around him . He can come to a franchise that's been second best in wins over the last decade

Aren't Melo and Lala split up? The close to NYC talk is all about his kids right? You can hate on Melo for many good reasons, but if it's about keeping the parents close for the kids, then it's hard to argue against.
