Nene struggled to play 18mpg, taking lots of rest nights off the entire season. I love Nene, he's great when healthy, focused and fresh. That being said he's a year older, and I doubt he's going to get more minutes then he had last season, in fact I think he might average a couple less, to where he only puts in 15mpg during the regular season this year. Trading Clint without a real replacement would be bad.
Millsap would've been cute a couple years ago but with KD at GS it's just a desperate move Dolan ain't buying Melo out and he's the only one who can help this team be a actual "super team". Without him we will probably lose CP3 and the banana boat dream and will waste hardens prime
Agree with everything you said but Morey will deal Capela if it means we get Millsap back. The only problems with that is I've heard many times players talk about not wanting to play bigger positions in the regular season because of wear and tear. That lineup look amazing in the playoffs but we need to keep them fresh for the 82 game grind. So I think we'll add a traditional banger if only to soak up minutes.
Millsap doesn't form the banana boat though. We could actually get Lebron and wade with Melo even though I don't think lebron ever leaves

I may get flamed for this, but I don't want to win the championship if it means we have to add Lebron to do so. Sorry, it just wouldn't be fun. I would literally take anyone besides KD, Lebron, and Westbrook (not that Westbrook would help anyway). I'm a realist when it comes to acquiring talent..bring on Melo/Milsap for a super team, but something about adding Lebron for his legacy run makes me think of an asterick to our 'chip
MIllsap seems more likely than Melo right now. The Melo situation is unpredictable with how things are running there. Millsap can be had, it's just a matter of if he wants to come here or not.
I'm not so sure on that. I think @Clutch might have known him. @heypartner or @tinman might know the background on that.
