Wow. One of the best starting lineups in the league? Would not be shocked to see them as a top 2-3 team in the west
I think the inexperience of their two top guys (Wiggins/KAT) will hurt them this year, but definitely prime to be a playoff team again.
Minnie has the potential to have a very solid defense, but they lack shooting to me, i also don't like Teague as fit with Butler and Wiggins, but i also don't like him in general tbh.
Wiggins' flaws were shown last year. I thought he was supposed to be a good defender but he was terrible on that end. Regardless they'll be fun to watch and have a good starting 5. I just worry about their depth.
See if they got Millsap I'd be shook but this move doesn't worry me at all. Some of you guys are gassing these Wolves wayyy too much. They had a semi-elite big 3 with a good amount of money to spend and you surround them with Teague and Gibson. Not a threat imo.
Don't see anything wrong with that. We know who their immediate core is with their 3. Teague and Gibson are those decent/good players you surround them with that understand their parts. Now minny is addressing their depth instead of throwing a ton of money at one player
lol theyll be anywhere bw 3-5 seed easily and even if you dont believe that, minny is a playoff team for sure
Strange move. They are already paying similar amount to Dieng. Both limited offensively. $28m for 48 mins of defense and rebounding is too much. They could have traded Dieng, signed Ibaka and still have enough to make a competitive offer to Tucker. Or signed Gallinar to get some spacing.
the only thing gibson doesn't do consistently is shoot the 3. he isn't that limited offensively. he can post, obviously mid range, good pick and roll player. hes a very good starting pf you fit next to those 3
