We don't need a leader...We have those. We need him to come in and do what he does best...instant offense.

 

I just don't know how you build a winning mentality and a winning roster by giving a large roll to someone that has proven he isn't a winner.

 

The way i see it, Paul wasnt agreeing to come to Houston without some others not coming one way or another.

We will get Melo eventually, hes motivated a **** to win something. It will happen in good time just got to find someone to take Ryno

Last I checked we werent offering bread to Melo. His role would be as a scorer. Exactly what he does best.

 

At this point, he's probably a great fit with what we're trying to do and actually realistic, but I can definitely see him going to CLE.

 

Unless you're a part of the negotiations you have no idea if rolls or any other type of bread was part of the deal.

 

That "he isnt a winner" crap is a vague and quite frank lazy a assessment of Melo. If youre a great player, playing for 2 historically bad organizations, how can one accuse me of not being a winner? Had Melo went & formed a superteam elsewhere we'd be saying the opposite. Was Love a loser before he went to Cleveland? Minnesota historically sucks. Melo in good situation like ours will be a great move
