No, I'm picking a proven reliable NBA veteran who answers a need at our biggest position of need... Even if we bring Nene back we badly need front court help... that was obvious last season... we have done nothing to address that.
In a perfect world, the Rockets would have a PF or C guard LMA so that Ariza and Tucker can take turns on Leonard. But if something bad happened (like Nene going down with an injury this past season), then it's good to know we have a guy like Tucker that you can put on LMA in emergency situations and not force Harden to guard him like he did this past year.
CP3 and PJ Tucker are excellent additions so far. I can't wait to see what else happens. I hope Nene comes back still.
PJ's one of few defensive stoppers in league IMO. I like it, decent value. Feel like it takes us out of another star sweepstakes, but its better to admit that quickly and not miss out on the remaining free agents.
