    Can anyone clarify once and for all whether we have an actual trade exception (and if so, for how much?) or if it's just our collection of non-guaranteed contracts that's being referred to as "basically a trade exception"?

    Remember this time last year and the entire GARM, myself included, was in meltdown mode cause of MDA and Gordon and Ryno. That ended up being 3rd best team in NBA, COY, SMOY, and Ryan providing tons of space and launching 3s from freakin Fannin.

    Yeah, I honestly feel the Paul George trade changed everything this off-season. It has been relatively quiet which means teams are resorting to back-up plans

    Trade negotiations are different. Feigen reports only what the rockets let him.

    All these quotes of can't combine the NGs with other players read like ppl think this is an $12m TPE. This isn't correct.

    We just call it that. This is a bunch of players who other teams can cut to clear cap space. These player can be combined any way we want AND combined with more players to make an even larger trade....hence why BimaThug is mentioning Onuaku being tossed in to make it a near $12m of trade value

    Ryno can be used with these guys to get Melo, for instance. Suffice it to say, trading all of them for Shump means we aren't doing a larger trade with them, because we could ... it's allowed.

    Also, only Kelley guarantees on July 7th. Others have later maturation dates.

    Agreed. My point is that no team is in their league. The only way anyone is beating the Warriors is if someone gets hurt at the wrong time. Injuries are unfortunately part of the game and we need to be a team ready to go if that presents itself. We're closer now than we were before.
