    Why are people upset? The only things outgoing are the non-guaranteed contracts and maybe one of those fake (top 55 protected) 2nd round picks.

    It's not like any of the outgoing guys are going to actually play on the floor or that one can be expected to get a top player for essentially no asset.

    Decent enough role player, knows the coach, short contract at about league average money.

    yeah, he gives effort defensively but dude isn't anything close to being lockdown

    he looked like he was gonna become an elite defender during his rookie season, but he just sucks now

    Who's a better point guard in that standpoint, Lebron or Chris Paul? Good question. I think I'd go with Paul, he's great at limiting turnovers and getting guys in their spots. Lebron is probably more creative in his passing but I don't think he's a better point guard.

    And they got destroyed in the finals. You aren't going to beat Golden State in a 7 game series by trying to outscore them 130-120. You have to be able to defend. Anytime Korver got stuck on Durant(it happened a lot), Durant scored with ease. Adding guys like him does not get the Rockets closer to beating the Warriors. However, the more versatile, 3 and D wings they can have to play small ball, does.

    everyone on ESPN, all these talking heads on TV, etc were saying that the Rockets weren't done after acquiring CP3...had me feeling like we were about to do some major things this summer

    Morey better surprise me because my excitement for this offseason is dwindling by the tweet

    Expiring contracts are always tradeable especially ones that are relatively smaller.
    Pick or not pick his option we would be able to get rid of him easily without wastin any asset.

    You couldnt combine our non guaranteed contracts acting as a TPE with another player. It couldnt be used in a deal with melo to begin with. Our interest in melo was either trade anderson or get melo after a potential buyout for cheap with our exceptions. This TPE and getting shumpert affects us zero in getting melo.

    We werent getting millsap and his soon to be huge contract to begin with
