    Could Shumpert be an asset the Rockets could use to acquire Melo somehow? That would make more sense to me than just acquiring Shumpert straight up.

    But fit means everything, might be a decent bench player but the price tag sucks

    Shumpert had six points, four rebounds and three steals in 22 minutes off the bench, and despite shooting only 1-for-6 from the field, he was considered a bright spot in the loss because of his attack mentality and on-ball defense against Kevin Durant.

    Ariza is close with both Harden and CP3, highly unlikely. It's probably just Morey adding as many small ball 3 and D guys as he can find to matchup with the Warriors.

    If Shumperts contract helps the rockets for other moves then go for it, but I don't care for the guys game or contract.

    All of the TPE is gone, so there's no way Rockets can get Melo or Millsap without trading away Ryno

    Iggy could still come, but it would be weird for Morey to immediately go after Shump (a defensive wing guy) right after Iggy cancels the rest of his meetings
