Seriously. People crying about his 3 point shooting sound dumb. He would be brought here to do a bunch of other things that we desperately need.
It will be if you want to take him away. Why would he leave for the same money. He's in a potential dynasty.
So, we had a top ten offense of all time last year, but just the 18th best defense in the league. If you subtract Bev, Lou and Anderson But add Paul (trade), Iggy (Snt for Ng'ed), Patterson (MLE) and Milsap (SNT for Anderson) I think you don't hurt your offense much, but your defense is greatly improved. Could be a 60+ win team. Paul / (Brown?) Harden / Gordon Ariza / Iggy Milsap / Patterson / Qi Capela / Nene / Hertlestein
That's precisely what he would be doing here isn't it? And he made teams pay for that game plan enough to win 2 rings in 3 years.
I disagree. Even without Melo they can compete. CP3 can guard Curry, Ariza and Iggy can defend KD and Klay. Offense isn't the Rockets issue. It's stopping Golden State, which Melo doesn't address unless he has an epiphany about trying on defense. That said, obviously getting Iguodala and Melo is preferable.
AFAIK You cannot offer a 5 year contract unless you have bird rights. We do not have birds rights. If 5 year 75 mill is a number out there, that's coming from Golden State.
He's not worth that much at this age, of this is just a play to get him away from gs it's not worth it
1. Solid overall player that can defend well 2. Stick it to the warriors they just lost more depth 3. Might intrigue more players to give Rockets a shot 4. Little bit more appeal to Millsap or Melo
it's fake news...there's a bunch of fake Woj accounts on Twitter yesterday a fake Woj account said the Knicks were offering Iggy a 5/150 deal we can't even offer Iggy 5 years
I'm starting to wonder if any of you have seen iggy play?. Dude is literally one of the best FA bench players on the market. The guy can do anything you need him to do. His passing ability is great, can defend, score, shots improved and a great team player
Iggy and his versatility is a major reason why the Warriors were the best team ever. Draymond and him made the Warriors better than the sum of their parts. No matter where he goes, removing him for the Warriors would be great. Of course, he's almost definitely going back.
