I really don't know how to feel about this right now. I think we improve again if we can nab him. Will just need to go after Melo if we do land him. I think the next step would be to send Anderson and two first to NY for Melo. Paul Harden Ariza Melo Capela Gordon Iguodala X X X Still......holy shhhhh what a lineup.
If I'm him, I go to GSW and ask for a bloated 2 year deal, partially guaranteed 3rd year with a team option. They can't sign Andre to 3 years at this point without coughing up a 1st to deal him in 2018 off-season. The 15 mil they pay for him is $45 mil in 2018 and 60 mil in 2019. If I'm Andre, I ask for 2 years 44 guaranteed, 3rd year $6mil guaranteed team option. Or i take Houston up on their 3/45-ish deal.
Are people really this stupid?? Why would Morey go into a meeting with a 6th man and two time champion and tell him he's not gonna start? Dumb asses
So are you saying that Iggy is an above average 3-point shooter? Because that's just not true. If Iggy attempts more than 3 or 4 three's a game, his percentage will drop into the low 30's. Regardless though, we wouldn't be bringing him in to shoot, but to play defense, make smart offensive plays, and then be a veteran presence on the team who knows how to win.
I don't think it matters. I'd go with Ariza just because he's been starting, but honestly I think iggy will be playing starter like minutes.
Listen, you need to step off and stop bringing up more bullshit. No ****, Warriors shoot a lot of 3s. Did you just figure that out? That was my point, bozo. Now do they demand that Iguodala take a fair share? NO. Would we? YES. BOOM, right there, that's why you're a nincompoop. You are completely missing context. Get it? That 1 3PA is IRRELEVANT to us to show he's average, cause of the demands in different systems. Add the fact GSW gets him and Dray WIDE OPEN LOOKS, and you can do the math here. It's 1+1=3. It's even more irrelevant.
4/36 is the most we can offer? I am sure there will be other teams that can beat that. Has he met with teh Spurs yet or not?
Complete opposite bud. I'm saying that 1 3PA at league average in the Warriors system where his demands for shooting threes versus ares is a completely different universe. @ThatBoyNick is stating he's at least average given he attempts 1 in league average minutes given. I said that's grade A horseshit, donkey dick crap. I'm going against that arguement. I disagree with your last sentence. We'd require him to be a shooter here, nobody here that isn't a Center, has to be able to shoot. It's how we roll.
If we don't get another superstar we'll be fine for 2018 I guess...hate to kick the ball down the road but that team is good enough to be the 3rd or even 2nd best team in the league...Ryno's contract becomes easier to trade with every passing year I guess...
That's 1 3PM not attempted so he's attempting close to 3 or 4 a game...... with his ability to penetrate, finish, playmake not sure he'd be asked to take anymore here than he did there....
I won't step off little man. 1 made 3pointer per game (not attempt) on 35% in 26 MPG over the last 4 years is an average 3PT shooter. Warriors/Rockets both take a lot of 3's, he'd get a lot of open looks in Houston with Paul/Harden. Sorry son, you lost.
Why does everyone throw melo in their lineups like he is here? Did I miss something? I thought if he gets bought out he goes to Cleveland and New York turned down our trade offer?
Iggy got a good enough offer with Houston to cancel the rest of the meetings. Maybe Iggy gets bigger deal with Warriors and returns to GSW or maybe he is a Rocket? Life goes on either way. Ball on!! http://fansided.com/2017/06/29/nylon-calculus-lineup-based-analysis-chris-paul-trade/
