http://www.totalprosports.com/2017/...anderson-for-melo-trade-from-houston-rockets/ Knicks turn down trade from rockets, Anderson 4 Melo. Looks like no trade gonna happen. Melo probably wont be bought out.
Dude I am obviously kidding about that. He was robbed 2 mvps But I want you to honestly tell that you actually think without Melo we have a chance of actually winning a ring?
So Knicks didn't like Anderson because they already have a guy similar to him who stretches the floor. Perfect solution, trade Anderson for THAT GUY!
They didn't like his contract and wanted more. Gordan is that extra push. Dolan probably won't trade porzings for anything also
OP can benefit from relaxing a bit but what he is saying is still true. We only have CP3 for a year and it is unlikely he will stay here if we do not show him that we can be close to beating the warriors. We do need that third star.
I love how everyone thinks I'm freaking out. I'm chillin smoking a bowl and drinking a beer I just wanted to start a thread that stresses the importance of this window and I look around this board and no one seems to understand the current situation in the NBA. Basically without Melo I can promise a 2nd round exit for years with PG13 with OKC. I see all these cute little trades people want to do but they literally don't mean **** without Melo. Just another average team
But what if Riddick gets angry and kills opposing players with those twin blades? Think this is a flagrant 2 and he'd miss crucial games.
He's listening. He wants out. Cavs or Rockets... The Cavs don't have the means like we do, but Love would be a great piece, too. You'll know shortly as the dust settles with Phil's departure. CP/James/Trev/Hakeem and an Ipad are hard at work. I'm dreaming of a couple players on my sig that would drastically improve our depth. And my Denver connect is telling me to not disregard the power of Mile High amd the departure of Young Footwork after this draft. It's too much for my brain. Give me Ty or Amir (serious talks) to secure the rim with Ne, and I'm happy for tonight haha. CJ for some tweenin' I'm calling Ne tomorrow to welcome him back and tell him to show Clint how to shoot beyond 2 feet. The Rockets are finally popular again. Shoutout one more time to @Cyber for the CP bombshell. Life is good, unless you're Hayward having to say goodbye to those miserable fans in Salt Lake. Yuck Finally, goodnight. I'm beat.
Hoping we can land Amir, he'd be great for our front court depth. Of course, hope we can land a star too (Melo/Sap). Thanks for all the updates Cod, makes the forum a lot more exciting and fun.
Why would it be Melo or bust. The only way I would want Melo is if he were cheap and a result of a buy out. Melo doesn't have the athleticism he once had. He also doesn't rebound well. So where does he fit in our scheme anyways. He's not durant who is close to 7 foot and can rebound but can also play outside in. He can play spot up minutes at the 4 but we'll get killed on the boards. That and the rediculous contract is just insane. It is one thing if we were getting Paul George to team up with us. He is strong, can rebound and has played pf. Does Ariza really get moved to the 4? That's just insane. He'd get killed. I'd rather hold off a bit and see if something implodes in new orleans forcing them to trade either boogie or brow. Heck even James Harden at 6'5 is a better rebounder than Melo.
Probably just emotional that bev isn't on the team anymore, gonna be weird not seeing bev in Rocket red next season.
