Well the price we paid for Paul was fine but they straight up robbed Indiana. It'd be the same as us trading Lou Williams and Harrell for CP3.

People were trashing me in the CP3 signing thread because i said from the begenning it was a terrible trade for what we gave up, and it was gonna come back to bite us in the ass. But nope. Everyone just said I was hater or r****ded blah blah blah... lol

No it hasn't. Two perennial ball-hogging losers with big egos will not beat our team in a 7 game series. Besides, they're both free agents next year.

Move this thread. Doesn't belong in the Rockets section. Glad we didn't get that idiot. Can't wait to see them fighting each other for the last shot

Yup, there's no downside for the Thunder. The chances of PG and/or Westbrook staying is much higher than the chance of Oladipo becoming a legit #2 or star player (lol).

Pritchard has really disappointed though. I thought more of him.

At least PG didn't go to the Spurs, or Mavs.

    Also:

Celtics trade offer for Paul George back at trade deadline, per league source: Brooklyn pick (wound up being No. 1) and 3 other first-rounders.

The Pacers ineptitude has 0 to do with the Rockets.

agreed. Getting out of Oladipo's contract would be a major win for them, and they got a fxcking allstar for a year in the process. Great move by Presti.

does anything ever go against the warriors? the only smidgen of a chance someone could have competed against them is if george goes to cleveland or goes to houston or boston as part of a series of moves to form a superteam. still not likely to beat the warriors, but at least just a tweaked ankle from an upset. this just wastes george's talent, makes the rockets have more of a chance to to lose to the thunder, and makes the east all the more irrelevant.

I think the real question we should be asking right now is what kind of a haul is OKC going to get about halfway through the season when they are trying to move George and Westbrook before those guys hit FA and walk.

I didn't think this was going to happen, but OKC was one of the most logical destinations for PG. OKC will be stiff next season.
