Good question, Korver will be cheaper, Reddick is the better player at this point...not sure what i'd do, i guess it depends on who else you can get for the MLE -> assuming Reddick can settle for that amount...as for Korver, i think he can be signed for the BAE at this point, maybe the minimum too, even though that might be difficult...
Yeah and I'm saying he's a good shooter but he's not worth $18 million. He's not in his prime anymore. The most the rockets should offer him is like $8 million a year.
Spoiler: Did someone say "tunnel" ? Oh yeah, don't forget about the sleeve... BONUS: Redick & Ryno will reform the rap duo group Waste Management under the Swisher Sweets record label.
I can't say lol, I don't see why not tho Wth is he gonna do playing for Brooklyn? They're irrelevant, and they suck. Does he want to spend the latter stages of his career there? Philly is a young team that has never experienced winning. He'll be stuck babysitting a bunch of talented kids. NYC's taxes are ridiculous. There's no state tax here. Both NY and Philly have cold winters. The Rockets are 1 of the best teams in the NBA, and I know that Reddick spends some of his offseason in Austin and even had a home there so he loves TX. I think this could get done.
So.... if Philly and Brooklyn are willing to spend $18 mil on Reddick, that tells me that moving Ryno to one of them really wouldn't be that Herculean of a task.
Almost the same style type player... except he would be less injury prone/risk. That's if we end up keeping E-Go. Even so, see above explanation of why he's not as good as Reddick. But don't get me wrong I feel like Flash Gordon may be a slightly better defender. Plus if we do (somehow) end up with both, you can never have more than enough shooters especially against the GSW.
Right - that's a 30-40 minute flight tops to Austin and the airport is relatively easy to get in/out of so he could spend significantly more time with his young family. Hell, he might spend the same time or more in traffic in Houston depending on where he lived in the city relative to the arena. Seems like a no brainer for anyone with a young family.
"Radio" people/podcasts have been talking about this since Durant bolted for GS, and especially after the trade for CP3. Please don't give Miller the credit, he's not that bright.
Veteran's minimum. Otherwise no. We need a bunch of quality ring chasers to drop their pants like they always do for the other super teams. Guys like David West for the Warriors, Bogut for the Cavs, etc. Cavs will probably offer Kyle Korver the vet minimum here in the next 24 hours. Why can't we get some of that sweet sweet vet minimum action?
Would be a good fit. He's not better than Gordon, but this would free us to trade Gordon while maintaining a great backcourt bench.
