I thought Morey said Paul will be meeting with the D'antoni and not on the trips

Won't be the same page without Jason Terry and Pat Beverley.

    Lol

Melo should play the 4 here btw, with Trevor at the 3.

Should be good enough to beat the Spurs but will lose to Warriors in 5 games in a 7 game series.

Neither of those two rosters is better than the Cavaliers team the Warriors faced in the finals.

Need 3 stud stars to compete with Warriors and 4 stud stars to take them down in a 7 game series.

The Warriors team has superstars that complement each other's games and are deadeye shooters.. And they are excellent defensively. Really need at least 4 superstars to take them down or 3 stars with incredible chemistry on offense and defense and some incredible role players.

The teams you proposed above is just not going to get it done against them.

If 'you' get a meeting, how do you propose to sign him?

EDIT: sorry, i didn't get what you were saying lol

Sign & trade with the Jazz would be the way to go i guess, or dumping Anderson and Gordon...but i don't think the Jazz would do it...or maybe yes, not sure :/

Hell if I know because Melo coming is a high risk, with a super high reward trade. There is just no way to gauge how that trade works out until you get them on the court.

The first group listed is likely going to project where 538 projects them to be now which is 55 to 60 wins. The second group probably is projected higher than 58 to 60 wins, but with a higher risk profile.

Given the Rockets need to "up their risk profile" as Morey says, I think the Rockets would go for the Melo trade.

On the first team, I see where you are going with adding a wing defender with the MLE, but Iggy is unlikely. PJ Tucker IMO is much more likely.

I'm assuming we're not meeting with anyone without a plan to clear up money first. That would be dumb on the Rockets' part. I'm guessing that's what's taken up the majority of Morey's time the last couple of days.....finding avenues through which he can clear up space.

Possibly yes. You're right in my opinion, snag him if you can. He can help out Ariza and Harden on D, provide some scoring , and even rebound.

Kyle Lowry. Give him a parting gift.

An unpopular thought -- Andrew Bogut.

With Capela and hopefully Nene, we have a better chance of keeping him healthy, and he's shown a willingness to want to go against his old friends at Golden State.

Bogut setting screens for Harden and Paul would be fun.

I think Daryl Morey is going to meet with another 2012 team USA guy.

    3 years 24 million...

    Andre Iguodala.

Tucker would be nice indeed. Id try first for Gay and James Johnson, see if they bite with the MLE.

I think it had to do with him changing his role to play away from the basket more plus with the emergence of Steven Adams as a rebounding center along with Durant and Westbrook being more active on the glass. He hasnt been in the paint that much more anymore as he used to be when Perkins was the center
