. No...I saw it, but just couldn't tell if you were trying to be mean or seriously interested in my personal opinion. Unfortunately, sometimes a post on a thread can come across as either innocent or a taunt. Because we aren't face to face, I can't read your body language or face, so I decided not to respond in the event your intent was bad. ln the event you meant no harm, I'm sorry for not replying soon. I'm about to board a flight to Orlando, so I probably won't respond soon. Talk to you soon.
No mate, genuine intrigue. Would just really like the hear the opposite side of that spectrum. Looking forward to the response. Safe travels
CP3 really wanted to play with Harden which disproves yet another false Clutchfans narrative...oh, and game 6 didn't stop us from getting CP3 either so there goes that false narrative as well Harden haters who were gloating and repeating all of their nonsense day after day are looking foolish...of course, a guy like Weeko is nowhere to be found after we acquired CP3, but if CP3 had said no, then this dude would've been the most active poster on Clutchfans
Thanks for the clarification. No, I wasn't devastated after the loss to the Rockets. Prior to that loss, we had a heart breaker against the Thunder a few years before. We also had a first round shocker against the Grizzlies a few years before that, so I knew what the capabilities of my squad were. The Rockets were just the better team that year, so what can you do but acknowledge that your squad just didn't have enough. My devastation was more that the front office continued to keep this squad and think that adding minimum level contracts with aging players would make it go further. During the first year of this core, a second round loss was acceptable. During the second year, a first round loss was a step back. During the third year, a second round loss to OKC made it clear this team wouldn't cut it. After that, some of the wiser fans wanted a change.
Any update on a press conference or Chris Paul sightings in Houston? His Twitter shows him here so curious if he has anything planned.
Anyway basically I believe Chris will take over this team and become one of the greatest legend of Houston Rockets.
I really think they should trade and trade Deandre for the beat return BEFORE free agency kicks off. For instance, If Blake walks everyone knows they are blowing it up and I'm not sure the offers will be as good. I've been in the clippers need to blow it up camp, so cp3 leaving could force the clippers hand. They have been so irrelevant (no offense) for so long that it's gotta be hard to let go of the success. I truly respect clippers fans. Honestly always have. It takes an actual fandom to endure what they have while always being in the Lakers shadow. Similarly feel the same for kings fans. None the less you seem knowledgeable and a decent poster and thus I hope you stick around. We have posters from many teams around here including the clippers and it's always nice getting outside perspectives that are reasonable.
I think its clear that the super friends like to coast until playoffs. CP3 averaged 25-11 against a top defense in the playoffs. We got a whole lot better with this trade. We will be dangerous in the playoffs. Really dangerous.
Won't happen. This is Harden's team. CP3 is here as a partner in crime, but Harden will always be the top dog.
No Harden showed himself and the world that he is no alpha dog. You don't bring it the most alpha player in basketball thinking he's going to tone it down. Harden has the most talent but CP3 is the leader of this team
You say that because you don't know Chris Paul, really. Even the olympic team was his. He is the greatest leader you will ever see. Whatever he does he does it because of his intelligent not because of height or athleticism. He's one of the smartest player ever and best decision maker. Soon you will see and understand.
We're preparing a press conference on a banana boat, where CP3, Bron, Melo and Wade all will be presented as Rockets.
I don't give a damn how great a leader or smart CP3 is, Harden has been on this team for half a decade and led it to its greatest success since the Dream years. CP3 will not be able to take over. All hell would break loose and CP3 would be traded before that happens. Harden is younger and better as a player (at this point in CP3's career), so the FO will always side with him.
please calm down. James Harden want this. He will be leader by example, he will have more energy on offensive production. I have my own opinion about who is better player but I'm not going to argue with you. Regards.
I am calm. I am just letting you know how it is. This is James Harden's team. It will never by CP3's team. Harden and CP3 may want to play with each other, but that does not mean it's CP3's team.
We understand. This is why the trade was special, were adding an upgrade skill wise, and putting a true leader on the floor, something we haven't had since Hakeem.
Cp3 is the vocal leader he'll get the troops focused harden included. But harden is the best player. Partly because he's younger but also he's 6'5 230lbs and is a legit MVP player every years. He's just a fantastic talent one of the best the NBA has ever seen, like cp3.
