Why would anyone voluntarily pick a Utah Jazz player when there's another option who's just as good?

I get that you've programmed yourself to reply to all my posts, but yeah... this is a pointless argument. LeBron is clearly buddies with George so Morey will prioritize him over Hayward. I've yet to see a report showing that Hayward will meet with the Rockets, while it's already been well documented that Harden/Paul are going hard after PG13.

Hayward isn't even meeting with us so I would let go of this premonition.

Cod. I love ya, but Amir was a big disappointment for the Celtics.

so basically it just supports what i said the rockets are all in and in win now mode going after that 3rd or 4th player. im sure morey is saying we need PG bc lebron wants him even though he has no affiliation with the houston organization whatsoever. that makes no sense

    That's why they'd move him...he needs a better situation.

This morning though, most of my chatter is coming from Orlando. 3 names...easy pickings. #GoGreen/ Vuc?

And don't underestimate Young Abel...backup guards are important.

But we've got one big name coming...maybe not LeBron big, but substantial if all goes well.

That's all for now ya'll. I don't want to be flamed....I'll let Cyber drop WOJ bombs...he's a great guy whom I respect on this board.

Yeah, it's clear that the concept of "foresight" just blows over your head. Why do you think Morey kept someone like Ariza and even Bobby Brown? Because of the FORESIGHT that they could help recruit someone who currently wasn't on the team -- Chris Paul.

If LeBron is the ultimate goal, it would be in Morey's best interest to acquire players who can recruit him.

If the Knicks buy-out Melo? We're all in for him for the same reason.

aww yes morey kept bobby brown and ariza for the sole purpose as those were the two keys to getting cp3. that's laughable

you put the best possible team out there no matter who it is. it's not about what someone who isn't even on this team wants. morey wants all these guys bc these are the best players realistically available that fit and are obtainable to beat the lebron and Kd teams.

We're chasing the warriors. Due to this we have to look at defensive match ups and conclude that PG13 has the length to guard KD while Hayward doesn't stand a chance.

Still would love either player but I can see us beating the warriors in 7 games with PG. I can't see it with Hayward.

Thinking about the potential for both guys to slide in as the 3rd wheel, I think PG still gets you at least 20 while spotting up quite a bit. Hayward fits the 3rd wheel alot, but I feel the Warriors, or any team with Luc Mbah A Moute, can make him ineffective on offense all game. Also I think Hayward is a little, little inconsistent.

Now defensively, I feel like PG stands a better chance to matchup with KD or Klay more because of his length and size, while with Hayward, he can't guard KD, but can guard Klay if needed.

I'd feel far more comfortable with PG guarding KD than I would with Hayward

PG is just the better player and gives us a higher ceiling

    Paul George.

When he on his game his defense alone is on another level.

Paul G can be the 3rd option on a team that can beat the Warriors.

Gordon cannot. He is not good enough to beat the Warriors as third best option

PG defensively is no longer that same player a few years ago. i think a lot of people automatically just hear the name PG get the wow factor but still kind of underestimate how good Hayward is and the type of player he has become.

feels alot like how people downplayed kawhi's development the last couple of seasons bc they didn't follow him enough. Hayward is a star in this league and the way he plays the game fits houston very well

Is it me or Hayward starting to get a little overrated? I'm not saying he's not a great player, but I just don't see him on the same level as guys like Paul George. What makes George so great is that he plays both ends of the court really well. He isn't a closer, but I think as a 3rd wheel, he'd flourish a lot more than a guy like Hayward would. I hate to use Team USA as an example, but George is such a great compliment when he has other stars around him and we've seen that.

I feel like Hayward would be a better version of Chandler Parsons more so than a complete all-star like George.

Who can defend Kawhi and Durant better in the playoffs? That's the collision path we're on and I don't give a damn about the aesthetics of stretch forward or stretch penis anymore!
