This has long been a funny thing to say, but something with no truth behind it. There are some real problems on the Clippers, and that means real solutions exist. Sometimes team building can come down to fortune. I've seen many teams on the verge of something good, but then injury reared its ugly head. I have seen many teams with a number one pick only to have it turn into Greg Oden. The current core of the Clippers was a good team, but simply not great..that's all. There's no curse behind it.

Someone should definitely start a Staples Center cheering section called Beverley Hells or Beverley Thrills.

I'm just hoping we still have enough money to work out a deal for a starting Power Forward and backups for Ryno and Ariza who are better than Dekker and Harrell. Ariza needs a good backup and honestly I would rather see Ryno as a backup to a better more consistent starter. That would be Awesome! I want a young Nene who can block shots AND hit some shots from behind the arc! Yes, I want it all!!!

I'm just curious and want to pick your mind since you seem level headed. Not to be a prick, if it comes off that way, but how devastating was the 2015 game 6 collapse against us?

Imo, I felt that was the end of the clippers relevance at achieving a title, and in hindsight it appears to be that way.

To me, that was the moment that cracks in even the relationships between the clippers showed.

So many NBA fans want to call it a collapse... The Rockets arguably played the best basketball of the year during that comeback. It exhausted them. Hence why the warriors just rolled right on by them.

I'm the only one who would pick Phoenix ahead of the Clippers as today? They have probably more assets than any team aside for Boston, a couple of solid veterans, good young talents...i wouldn't be shocked to see the Suns suddenly in the mix for George if they can sign Griffin quickly or before Indiana trades him. The Clippers have a weak surrounding cast, no picks, not a single great assets, Pat is the only asset which can maybe get you a 10/15 pick...

In a manner of speaking, Morey has turned Corey Brewer into Chris Paul.

That's what I was thinking. They need Ibaka because in small ball, he can play center. He can hit the 3, good mid range, and good ft shooter.

Interesting statistic from this year :

I know how it sounds but If MVP means the most valuable player for own team - this statistic shows who really improved his team the most. 2-way players has a bigger chances to be on top of this list.

This statistic doesn't say who is the best but rather who is the most important to his own team. If player has amazing backup on the bench might not be on this list.

The real plus minus is the stats that removes this weakness

    1 LeBron James 8.42
    2 Chris Paul, 7.92
    3 Stephen Curry, 7.41
    4 Draymond Green, 7.14
    5 Kawhi Leonard, 7.08
    ..
    9 Russell Westbrook 6.27
    ..
    13 James Harden 4.81

But in the middle of the season there was something like this, and Chis Paul was not even voted to All star game:
