Feel like this is for Milsap. Anderson, 2020 1st + 9 million in NG's to Atlanta, agreed apon in free agency with trade being executed in a couple of months.
Melo is a better scorer but Millsap is a better two way player. Infact Millsap maybe the best two way PF in the east and top 3 in the nba
Could still get Anthony via buyout. Again if we agree to offer Anthony our full MLE after he's waived it cuts NYK like a 16-25 mill break I believe.
Dude, he's got two years left. They might be dumb but they ain't utterly foolish. If he gives up a year then your suggestion might work. But probably not. However if we keep accumulating a few more ng's we may be ableto get a deal for him without sending them back salary. They might actually do that
From Basketball Insiders on the new CBA effective July 1: This basically ends the practice of what Morey has been doing for the last couple of days. These contracts that he's picking up now are grandfathered in, but for any contracts after signed after July 1, only the guaranteed salary figure will be used for salary matching in trades. These may actually increase in value as these legacy contracts become more scarce. If there truly becomes supply issues, I could see a team in need of one of these small non-guaranteed contracts Morey has amassed potentially giving us a pick in trade.
I already knew that. Thanks for the confirm. But don't count out the Spurs and the Knicks. A melo trade could run straight through Minny. Knicks love Rubio. And he might be Spurs top target.
Or maybe the rockets just like him as a player? PF with 3point shoot possibility on a cheap contract that is worth a look? Morey was canvassing the league yesterday for non-guaranteed deals and was surprised when he heard the Mavs would part with Uthoff, and was like, "oh really I can have him too? That one I want to keep for myself. I got something to take care of today, but let's revisit this one tomorrow..."
Rockets fans should just rejoice, were landing an another all star type player regardless of who it may be.
Carroll I felt regressed back to who he was which is still a better player than Bazemore. He had some moments, but you're right Toronto was thinking they found their guy to slow down LeBron and realized that he wasn't that guy at all and had to get PJ Tucker as well last season (a move I did like a lot though)
I think that might be the case with this kid. Morey's strength has always been shuffling the bottom half of the roster and finding gold. Once we get our stars in place, look out.
